NBA DFS: Targets for 3/8
-
Updated: March 8, 2017

There’s a packed, 11-game NBA DFS slate for us! Last night was a fun one, and I hope it carries over to tonight.
We also have a DFS account on Twitter, so be sure to give it a follow! Follow FakePigskinDFS
The plays:
Stephen Curry (GS vs. BOS)
FanDuel: $10,400 (PG)
DraftKings: $10,100 (PG)
For most of the season, I’ve stayed away from Curry. With this game being back at the Oracle and against the Celtics, I think Curry makes for a fine play. In his last six out of seven games on both FD and DK, he’s scored at least 40 fantasy points. Curry’s floor is safe, and he gets a usage bump (from 26.3 to 34.1) without Durant on the court.
Kent Bazemore (ATL vs. BKN)
FanDuel: $4,500 (SF)
DraftKings: $4,600 (SG/SF)
Bazemore isn’t a safe play by any means, and you can see that from his game logs. You know you can get a dud when you roster him, which makes him a tournament play. The Hawks are at home against the Nets. We’ve seen the Nets hang in there with teams throughout the season, so the Hawks being 10-point favorites doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll be a blow out from the get-go. If there’s a game where Bazemore can potentially get 30 fantasy points, I like this one for it.
Khris Middleton (MIL vs. NYK)
FanDuel: $5,700 (SF)
DraftKings: $6,600 (SF/PF)
Middleton has played well since his return. Because of his price, he’s a better play on FD where I do think he can get you 30 fantasy points. It looks like Carmelo Anthony will be back against the Bucks, but that doesn’t worry me. The fantasy points listed on his game log for the last two games don’t jump off the page, but his floor has been safe so far.
Wilson Chandler (DEN vs. WAS)
FanDuel: $6,800 (SF)
DraftKings: $6,800 (SF/PF)
With Danilo Gallinari (who I liked on DK today) downgraded to questionable with illness, Nikola Jokic questionable as well, and Kenneth Faried already ruled out, Chandler is once again someone to target on the Nuggets. Chandler has done extremely well when the team is short-handed. With this lineup news, many will look to rostering the Wizards. For me, I’d rather differentiate my lineup with Nuggets players.
Bismack Biyombo (ORL vs. CHI)
FanDuel: $4,600 (C)
DraftKings: $5,500 (C)
Biyombo’s price has come up while Nikola Vucevic nurses his Achilles injury. He was making value at a sub-$4k price, but now that it’s risen, we need to make sure other players we roster can make up for it in case Biyombo sides more with the floor instead of the ceiling. With value opening up to start the day, Biyombo should be one of the safer targets.
Also take into consideration:
Isaiah Thomas (BOS @ GS) – on both sites
FanDuel: $9,400 (PG)
DraftKings: $8,800 (PG)
Darren Collison (SAC @ SAS) – on both sites
FanDuel: $5,300 (PG)
DraftKings: $5,500 (PG/SG)
Kristaps Porzingis (NYK @ MIL) – on FD
FanDuel: $6,400 (PF)
DraftKings: $7,100 (PF/C)
Rudy Gobert (UTA @ HOU) – on both sites
FanDuel: $7,800 (C)
DraftKings: $7,600 (C)
Mason Plumlee (DEN vs. WAS) – on both sites, especially if Jokic is out
FanDuel: $5,400 (C)
DraftKings: $5,100 (C)
