Falcons Calvin RIdley

With 3 weeks of the NFL season in the books we as fantasy owners are getting a better grasp on what teams are doing. Workloads are becoming more apparent and players are emerging. With that in mind, it’s time to nail down some Week 4 Waiver Wire targets!

It was another productive week for the Ravens John Brown even without finding the end zone. He had the second most targets on the team with 9, and caught 5 for 86 yards. Over the past two weeks, Brown has been targeted 19 times and seemingly become a trustworthy option for QB Joe Flacco.

In the coming weeks Baltimore will face the Steelers, Titans, and Saints who are all among the worst in fantasy points allowed to the WR position. Add Brown and use him!

Calvin Ridley | Atlanta Falcons

Yahoo – 44%
ESPN – 40%

After a head scratching Week 1, Calvin Ridley is flashing the skills that made him a high draft pick. Sunday’s explosion almost single handedly won weeks for owners that were brave enough to start him. Ridley caught 7 of his 8 targets for 146 and 3 TDs!

While owners shouldn’t expect a TD every week, Ridley is clearly becoming a bigger part of this offense. He has 13 targets over the past two weeks and has scored in both contests. With Julio Jones getting the majority of the attention, there should be room for Ridley to continue to be a reliable option in the coming weeks.

Geronimo Allison | Green Bay Packers

ESPN – 34%

A week ago in this very spot, Geronimo Allison was a player I told you to pick up. Owners that followed my advice and played him were rewarded with a strong game. Allison only caught 2 of his 4 targets but he put up 76 yards and a TD.

Over the first three weeks Allison has 18 targets in an offense that has Davante Adams, Randall Cobb, Jimmy Graham, and more. He is clearly someone QB Aaron Rodgers has faith in and Allison’s ability to make big plays makes him an interesting flex play most weeks.

The Packers face Buffalo, Detroit and the 49ers over the next three weeks. All three teams have huge issues in their secondary and Allison should have an opportunity to feast.

Mike Williams | Los Angeles Chargers

Yahoo – 56%
ESPN – 33%

All Mike Williams does is catch touchdowns! Over the last two weeks he has 6 catches and 3 TDs, 2 of which came on Sunday. He is quickly becoming one of Philip Rivers favorite options especially with Hunter Henry out of the lineup. Williams saw a team high 7 targets on Sunday.

The second year WR has 15 targets and two games over 80 yards receiving through 3 weeks. He is a player that has the ability to become someone you want to play on a week-to-week basis and win you matchups down the stretch. Add him now while he is still widely available.

Tyler Boyd | Cincinnati Bengals

Yahoo -17%
ESPN – 24%

Tyler Boyd needs to be owned in more leagues. He is becoming a consistent weapon opposite A.J. Green. He caught 6 of 7 targets on Sunday for 132 yards and a TD. This was the second week in a row where Boyd found the end zone.

Green left Sunday’s game with a groin injury. While he said it was “Nothing serious. I will be back next week”, the potential for re-injury or for the Bengals to use him as a decoy only raises Boyd’s value.

Packers Aaron Jones

Aaron Jones | Green Bay Packers

Yahoo – 64%
ESPN – 51%

In his return Aaron Jones led the Packers in carries. He toted the rock 6 times for 42 yards. He also caught his only target for 5 yards. Green Bay has had issues on the defensive side of the ball and much of the load has fallen on QB Aaron Rodgers’ shoulders.

There should be opportunities for Jones to make a fantasy impact with the Bills, Lions, and 49ers in the coming weeks. Add him now if you need RB depth or someone to play in the coming weeks.

Rashaad Penny | Seattle Seahawks

Yahoo – 56%
ESPN – 62%

This add is more of a stash than anything. Seattle returned home and was able to establish the run. Chris Carson ran the ball 32 times for 102 yards and a score. Carson flashed the skills that made him so intriguing a season ago.

That said, if something happens to Carson, Penny would be a highly sought-after waiver wire target. If you have room on your bench you should be adding Penny.

Javorius Allen | Baltimore Ravens

Yahoo – 27%
ESPN – 40%

While the Ravens are utilizing Alex Collins as their lead back, Javorius Allen continues to be fantasy relevant. He carried the ball 6 times for an underwhelming 7 yards and caught 3 passes for 19 yards. However, he found the end zone twice on Sunday against Denver.

While its not awesome to rely on a RB that has been so TD dependent, injuries or ineffectiveness may have you searching. He looks to be a goal line option for the Ravens. Allen has found the end zone four times over the first three weeks. There is boom or bust potential with Allen, so understand the risk in playing him.
