College Football DFS Week 4 Targets Night Slate
-
Updated: September 22, 2018

Is the College Football DFS Week 4 early contest on DraftKings not enough for you before NFL Sunday? Outstanding! It isn’t enough for me either which is why, in addition to my targets for the early slate, I will be posting my approach for the night contest each week here starting with Week 4. Here are the Vegas odds (favorites in bold) for the 7 games included in the night DK contest.

We all know which game jumps out, so I will spare you the “target Texas Tech and Ok. St. players” hard hitting analysis…

What I will do is point out that if you MUST roster the quarterback/running back combo from both teams in order to hoard every juicy yard of offense, and score in Stillwater Saturday night, your average remaining price per player is $3,500.
Working under the assumption that a vast majority of night slate players will be taking some version of this approach, I will offer four low cost targets with floors that aren’t necessarily in your main level dining room, but are also not in the basement either.
KeSean Carter | WR | Texas Tech $3,700
The former high school track star has caught on fast in his freshman year with 14 catches, and 143 yards in his first three games as a Red Raider. He’s the exact fit here, as a guy who has sneaky upside potential to do damage in what projects to be a high scoring affair, and has a firm enough role offensively that he won’t return nothing.
Zach Austin | WR | Texas Tech $3,000
Carter’s inside receiver teammate in the Texas Tech two-deep offensive scheme, is sixth year senior Zach Austin. He’s a great story, coming back from missing the last two seasons due to injury. He’s been modestly worked back into the receiver rotation to this point with a 7-50-0 line, but that could all change Saturday night. At their prices, Carter and Austin will likely be a factor in GPPs for the night slate.
Josh Palmer | WR | Tennesse $4,200
The Tennessee wideout is emerging as a legit deep threat in his sophomore season with a 6-148-1 through the Volunteers first three games, averaging just under 25 yards per catch. He recorded catches of 50 plus yards in his last two games, and only needs one or two plays to return value at his price, making him an ideal side dish for your T-Tech/Ok St. main course Saturday night.
Seth Williams | WR | Auburn $3,000
Per usual, DK value is found with freshman players like this Auburn wideout. He’s managed just four catches for 72 yards in the Tigers first two games, but is involved in the offense enough that he shouldn’t come away with zero points for your lineup. A matchup against an Arkansas defense that is a mess, provides an opportunity for any player in the Tiger offense to get loose on a Jarrett Stidham deep ball.
Good luck for the night slate! Follow me on twitter @realBobbyAdcock likes and insults are always welcome!
