MKF Play: More or Less BorB and Fantasy Points 2.5x Prize
This event was a total birdie festival last year. There is no reason why that should change in 2021. The key take away from the table above is that the average Birdies or Better (BorB) scored from a player that finished T-20 or higher was 20.6. That is why I like the combo of Dustin Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau in both of these games to have MORE than their respective totals.
As long as they don’t have a fluke missed cut, a top-20 finish isn’t asking much from two of the best players in the world at a very easy course. Based on last season’s results, that finish exceeds the 18.5 BorB total. And, goes a long way in getting them both over their respective fantasy totals. Because the 20ish birdies already puts them at roughly 60 fantasy points, they’ll definitely go north of 40 pars after four full rounds on this course. Winna!
