5 Under Par – Daily Fantasy Golf – Deutsche Bank

I thought that Rickie Fowler was going to pull it out at the Barclay’s, but Patrick Reed picked up the win. We move on to the 2nd round of the playoffs this week and tackle the Deutsche Bank. Even with the season winding down there  will still be some great daily fantasy golf action at Draftkings this week. Hop into a game and try your “skill” at 100k this week.

The Deutsche Bank is played at the TPC Boston in Norton, MA. The course plays at a Par 71 and is 7,242 yards. Last years winner Rickie Fowler was on track to win last weekend and will definitely be looking to defend this week. To make the 5 Under picks this week I used the following metrics: Strokes Gained: Tee to Green, Strokes Gained: Putting, Greens in Regulation, Driving Distance, Par 4 Average and Scrambling.

Fantasy just got a whole lot better thanks to Monkey Knife Fight. With fast-paced games like Rapid Fire and Either/Or, it’s never been easier to play fantasy and win. New to MKF? Get Exclusive $100 Deposit Match + Free $5 Game >

There is a chance of thunderstorms on Thursday and some rain in the forecast on Sunday. However, Friday and Saturday look good to go for golf. This article and my picks are being brought to you by Tour Golf Revolution, the site that let’s you “Reinvent League Golf.”

1. Jason Day – 6 top 20s in the last 7 events at the Deutsche. He has posted top 5s in the last two events and a T4 last week. He has the game and the will to win.

2. Rickie Fowler – Last years champ looks like he has a fire lit under him. He wanted it bad last week, but a little bobble gave Patrick Reed the win. Fowler was also T23 in 2014 and this course fits him.

3. Matt Kuchar – T4 in 2013 and T9 last year. He is so consistent and is just hard to pick against. Slow and steady wins the race and Kuchar could win this one.

4. Dustin Johnson – DJ hasn’t missed a cut here and has two top 5s at the course. He is a long ball hitter and his game matches this course. He is also on fire this season and is hard to pick against.

5. Jordan Spieth – Really wanted to slot Patrick Reed in this spot, but worried he may be tired after pulling down the win last weekend. He looked good last weekend and even though he was cut here last season he has registered a top 5 over.

Other Notables*

Par – Patrick Reed

Bogey – Emiliano Grillo

Double Bogey – Sergio Garcia

* I usually use the last 5 years of course/tournament data in my research
