College Football Week 4 Picks Against the Spread

After Saturday we will have a month of the College Football season in the books! Let’s find more winners in College Football Week 4! Week 3 was straight fire! I went 2-1 in my picks and 2-1 in my bonus picks. That’s 4-2 ladies and gents!

Who do I like for this week?

TCU Horned Frogs -3 at Texas Longhorns

I told you a week ago that I would be on the Horned Frogs in this spot. TCU looked very impressive against Ohio State a week ago for 2.5 quarters. Eventually the Buckeyes proved to be too much. This week the Frogs should rebound and roll the Horns.

Texas was very impressive against USC last week. (WINNER!) The Longhorns are riding high after a huge win at home. They’re all set for a dose of reality this week. USC is not great with a questionable coaching and a freshman QB finding his way.

The Frogs are getting the majority of the action (73% of bets) and yet their still getting more money (78%) than bets. They prove to be the better team and cover on the road. The under is a great place to look in this spot as well.

Pick: TCU -3

Iowa Hawkeyes +3 vs Wisconsin Badgers

The Wisconsin Badgers lost in Camp Randall a week ago against BYU. Jonathan Taylor is an incredibly talented RB that was in Heisman conversation to start the season. He will put up numbers the rest of the way but this team is not your daddy’s Badgers. The offensive line is not as good as previous seasons. The defense is lacking some of the talent that made them a legit playoff team in previous years.

Now they head on the road to Kinnick Stadium. This place gets real weird at night. This is where Ohio State had issues last season. They also squeaked out a win two years ago against the #3 Michigan Wolverine in a night game.

I think the Hawkeyes offense is good! Nate Stanley makes this offense roll. Noah Fant is a stud at TE. They have other weapons that can make big plays. I not only have Iowa covering the field goal at home but I think they can win this game outright.

Pick: Iowa +3

Alabama Crimson Tide -26 vs Texas A&M

ROLL DAMN TIDE! I hate taking a public ass team like Alabama but holy hell this offense is insane. Tua Tagovailoa and the starters are licking their chops to be able to put points in the second half. The defense is coming off a game where they shut down the best trio of WRs in the country.

A&M was impressive in their game against Clemson. The defense showed their merit but the Bama offense is heads and shoulders above Clemson. They went toe to toe for four quarters and were a two point conversion away from OT.

That said, that Clemson team isn’t on the level of this Bama team. I think Kellen Mond tries to make plays in the second half that ends up a crushing turnovers and he seals the fate of the Aggies. Bama rolls and covers here.
