QB Streamers: Lift Off With Jared Goff

Rams Jared Goff

Week 9 is here and it’s once again time to stream at the QB position. Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, and more QBs are on the bye week. Streaming options like Andy Dalton and Josh McCown are in bad match ups. Lets look at QBs that help you this week!

Jared Goff at New York Giants

Jared Goff is setup to have a great Week 9. The Rams are coming off of the bye and have had two weeks to prepare for the New York Giants. A defense that is giving up the 6th most fantasy points to opposing QBs. A defense that has give up 3 passing TDs and 20 plus fantasy points to opposing QBs. A defense that will be without DB Janoris Jenkins. Look for Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp and others to feast this week. Tyler Higbee could be a nice TE play if you are digging deep. The Giants are atrocious against the TE, allowing the most fantasy points to the position. They have allowed a TE TD every single week this year.

Jacoby Brissett at Houston Texans
13% Owned on Yahoo!

This week Jacoby Brissett makes for a streamer with upside potential but downside as well. This game is on the road facing a Texans defense that was just torched by Russell Wilson to the tune of 452 yards and 4 TDs. Houston is allowing the 4th most fantasy points to opposing QBs. If you dig deeper, they have been throttled by Wilson, Tom Brady, and Alex Smith which is inflating the numbers. That said Brissett should be solid in this spot. Jack Doyle should feast against a defense that has allowed 20 plus point performances to opposing TEs in 3 of their last 5 games. The Texans offense should produce points at home and force the Colts to keep up. Start Brissett if you are in need of a QB this week.

Drew Stanton vs San Francisco 49ers
2% Owned on Yahoo!

Yes I am recommending Drew Stanton this week. Will it go horribly? Probably, but the stars are aligning for a potential strong performance. The Cardinals are coming off their bye week and have had two weeks to prep for the San Francisco 49ers. A defense that is allowing 20.3 fantasy points to opposing QBs. Both defenses have bad defense and I dont hate CJ Bethard either. This game could be real weird and the offenses could make it interesting. As they say, desperate times call for desperate measures.
