NBA DFS: Targets for 3/15

There’s a 10-game, mid-week NBA DFS slate for us tonight. From the looks of it right now, it’s not necessarily a night to spend up, but there it wouldn’t be difficult if you that’s the direction you want to go in. We at least have some news that has been announced, making it easier to analyze tonight’s games.

We also have a DFS account on Twitter, so be sure to give it a follow!

Fantasy just got a whole lot better thanks to Monkey Knife Fight. With fast-paced games like Rapid Fire and Either/Or, it’s never been easier to play fantasy and win. New to MKF? Get Exclusive $100 Deposit Match + Free $5 Game >

The plays:

Ricky Rubio (MIN @ BOS)

FanDuel: $7,600 (PG)

DraftKings: $7,400 (PG)

Rubio has been performing well, and I really like him as a target for the point guard position. Double-doubles aren’t far fetched for him, which he’s gotten in four out of the last five games. Boston’s defense is better since Avery Bradley‘s return, with a defensive rating of 106.7 during his absence and 101.2 with him back on the court. If you’re contemplating between a few point guards, this is something you may want to factor in. Overall, I personally would not let those numbers scare me off of Rubio tonight.

Jordan Clarkson (LAL @ HOU)

FanDuel: $5,600 (PG)

DraftKings: $5,900 (PG/SG)

The Lakers are a tough team to predict, but I think you can count on Clarkson again to put up minutes and fantasy points. He’s played at least 30 minutes in the last four games. On a per game basis, the Rockets are allowing the seventh most points to their opponents, at 108.3. This is a game you’ll surely want exposure to, and you’ll want to do it with mid-priced players.

Devin Booker (PHO vs. SAC)

FanDuel: $6,600 (SG)

DraftKings: $6,700 (SG)

Any time Booker is below $7,000 on either site, it catches my eye. He hasn’t been the easiest to roster but the potential for big games are absolutely there. I think we have one here in a game against the Kings, where it might be silly to leave him out of your lineup. The Kings are allowing a 46.5% field goal percentage, which is eighth worst in the NBA. Booker’s played at least 34 minutes in his last four games, with at least 23 real life points in each.

Willie Cauley-Stein (SAC @ PHO)

FanDuel: $5,500 (PF)

DraftKings: $5,600 (PF/C)

On the other side of the the Suns game are the Kings. Cauley-Stein has seen an uptick in minutes, especially in the last three games with 36, 35, and 42. It might be a bit easier to play him on FD because of his price, since 30-plus fantasy-point nights don’t come often for him on DK. Cauley-Stein’s bigger fantasy nights are when he’s getting nine or more rebounds. I’m not sure if he’ll get that tonight, but he wouldn’t be a terrible play.

Rudy Gobert (UTA @ DET)

FanDuel: $7,700 (C)

DraftKings: $6,900 (C)

Gobert’s price on DK. That is all. If I really need to elaborate a little; the last time he was under $7000 on DK was February 9th, against the Mavericks at $6,700 where he scored 41.25 DK points, and rarely disappoints when he’s under that price point. Defensively, the Pistons are league-average in allowing rebounds and points to their opponents. Gobert is an above average player who has the potential of getting a double-double everytime he’s on the court.

Also take into consideration:

Patty Mills (SAS vs. POR) – on both sites (if Tony Parker is limited or out)

FanDuel: $4,400 (PG)

DraftKings: $5,300 (PG)

Jeremy Lamb (CHA @ IND) – on FD (Nicolas Batum is out)

FanDuel: $4,900 (SG)

DraftKings: $5,600 (SG)

Dion Waiters (MIA vs. NOP) – on FD

FanDuel: $6,800 (SG)

DraftKings: $7,100 (SG/SF)

DeMarcus Cousins (NOP vs. MIA) – on both sites if Anthony Davis is out

FanDuel: $9,000 (C)

DraftKings: $9,500 (PF/C)

Clint Capela (HOU vs. LAL) – on both sites

FanDuel: $5,300 (C)

DraftKings: $5,500 (C)
