Own the Play Week 10: Bargains Found Across the Board

Kirk Cousins and Jordan Reed

Own the Play Week 10 is an opportunity to find value at every position. You can save across the board and give yourself opportunity to play studs a plenty. Lets find value and help you win on owntheplay.com this weekend!

Kirk Cousins Washington Redskins $5,100

Kirk Cousins may be my favorite quarterback to use this week. I know Cousins hasn’t been amazing this season but this is the week to use him. He faces a Saints defense that has allowed the most touchdowns to opposing passers and the second most yards. His last two home starts have also featured his best performances of the season. He also has a healthy Jordan Reed and DeSean Jackson. Something he only has said one other week this season.

Blake Bortles Jacksonville Jaguars $7,000

Blake Bortles has the opportunity to explode in this game. He faces a Ravens secondary that can be thrown on. They have allowed the second most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks and the 6th most passing yards. Allen Robinson and likely Allen Hurns should be on the other end of may Bortles passes this week. He gives owners the chance to save almost $2,000 over Brady and Rodgers and the opportunity to put up a similar production.

James Starks Green Bay Packers $5,100

James Starks is the number one running back in Green Bay and is facing a Lions defense that is awful. They have allowed the second most fantasy points to opposing running backs. This is a game where the Packers are going to reassert their offense against the Lions at home and Starks should see a ton of work. His price tag does reflect that of a stud starter. Starks will likely be highly owned but for good reason.

Giovani Bernard Cincinnati Bengals $5,100

Giovani Bernard has been impressive this season. He has become the lead dog for the Bengals, something that may frustrate Jeremy Hill owners. But in DFS, you aren’t stuck with the team you drafted. Bernard is very affordable and has the opportunity to have a huge game. The Texans have allowed the 6th most fantasy points to opposing running backs. Expect Bernard to be used in both the run game and the pass. A huge day could be coming.

Danny Amendola New England Patriots $4,700

This is the my favorite play at wide receiver this week. He is super affordable and can produce like an upper tier wide out. While everyone is looking for the Dion Lewis replacement in the backfield it’s Amendola who should get that work. He had 17.5 and 22.6 in the two games where Lewis either was very limited or didn’t play. This week he faces a Giants secondary that has struggled and has only got worse with the loss of Prince Amukamara. He will also allow you to pair him with elite options like DeAndre Hopkins Odell Beckham Jr.

Allen Hurns Jacksonville Jaguars $4,800

I’m going to preface this by saying there is a chance that Allen Hurns does not play in this game. But if he does, fire him up. Hurns has been awesome this season. He has 3, 20 plus point games in his last 5 games. The Ravens defense has been bad against the pass. Allowing the second most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Teammate Allen Robinson is one of my favorite plays this week. Playing Hurns and Robinson together this week is a great idea.

Jordan Reed Washington Redskins $3,800

Jordan Reed can be special when he plays. Two weeks ago he had a 30 plus point performance against another poor pass defense at home against the Buccaneers. Kirk Cousins has the opportunity to produce big time in this game and Jordan Reed should be on the other end of many of those passes, hopefully in the end zone. He is highly owned, currently sitting at 38% but it will be a great play.

Eric Ebron Detroit Lions $4,300

Eric Ebron has a huge opportunity this week. The Detroit Lions will likely need to throw a ton to keep up at Green Bay. Ebron has shown the ability to stretch the field and produce. The Packers allow the 7th most yards to opposing tight ends. They have been decimated by injuries giving Ebron more opportunity to produce in a big way. He could be a top 5 performer at the position and save you money in the process.

Pittsburgh Steelers $2,700

While i’m trying to play the St. Louis Rams this week as my defense especially when there is savings at all the other positions, the Pittsburgh Steelers provide a ton of value. They are sub $3,000 and face a Browns team that doesn’t scare you offensively. The Steelers are opportunistic on defense. They are 10th in terms of turnovers forced a game this season and 6th in their last 3 games. Johnny Manziel or Josh McCown are turnover prone and will give Pittsburgh the chance to make plays.
