Cam Newton has been really good this season. He is the Carolina Panthers offense. This week he faces a Colts defense that has issues defending the pass outside of Vontae Davis. They have allowed the 4th most passing yards thus far this season. Expect Cam to have another nice performance in this game. He should find his targets early and often. Expect his to utilize his legs in this game as well.

Philip Rivers San Diego Chargers $7,800
at Baltimore Ravens

Philip Rivers has had a really strong season thus far. He is second in terms of fantasy points and first in terms of passing yards. This week he faces a Ravens secondary that has given up the second most passing yard and fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Antonio Gates  could be back this week to provide another weapon for Rivers. Expect Keenan Allen and Danny Woodhead to be utilized as well.

Doug Martin Tampa Bay Buccaneers $6,300
at Atlanta Falcons

Doug Martin is a must play for me this week and if you know me at all, that is a very hard to say. He is facing a Falcons defense that can’t stop the run. They have allowed 10 rushing touchdowns, tops in the NFL. They can also be had via the short passing game. Martin is averaging 3 plus catches and 35 yards per game. He should have a monster game in this spot.

Chris Johnson Arizona Cardinals $5,800
at Cleveland Browns

Chris Johnson has been incredible this season. He stole the gig in Arizona and has literally ran away with it. He has the second most rushing yards in the NFL at this point. This week he faces a Browns rush defense that has been the worst in the NFL this season allowing almost 150 yards per game. Expect the Cardinals to lean on the run this week and for CJ to get a ton of work.

Justin Forsett Baltimore Ravens $6,000
vs San Diego Chargers

Justin Forsett is a big part of this offense, getting utilized on the ground and through the air. This week he faces a Chargers defense that allows a ton of yards on the ground. San Diego has also given up the 8th most catches to running backs. Expect Forsett to produce and produce big this Sunday.

Julio Jones Atlanta Falcons $7,500
vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Julio Jones against a secondary that has allowed the third most points to wide receivers? Sign me up! He has been a monster so far, coming into this game as the number one receiver in fantasy. He should have a great game in this spot. He hasn’t produced 100 plus yards since Week 3 but the last two weeks he hit 90 plus. Expect him to go off and have a monster game.

A.J. Green at Cincinatti Bengals $7,300
at Pittsburgh Steelers

A.J. Green is going to be a sneaky good start this week. I know that is weird to stay about a stud but he is low owned thus far on Own the Play. Last season Green had 19 catches and 306 yards against the Steelers. He should do well in this match up again this season. The Steelers defense is 7th in terms of fantasy points allowed to wide receiver.

Tyler Eifert Cincinnati Bengals $4,700
at Pittsburgh Steelers

A big week is coming for Tyler Eifert. He faces a Steelers defense that is third in terms of fantasy points allowed to the tight end. He should have 5 plus catches for 80 or so yards have a good shot to find the end zone a couple of times.

St Louis Rams $3,600
vs San Francisco 49ers

I’m going back to the well on this one. The Rams are a really strong defense that seems to play much faster at home in the dome. This week they face Colin Kaepernick who becomes a very different quarterback when pressured. I expect the Rams to get pressure early and often on him. It should result on a few turnovers. Rams will be widely owned this week but for good reason.

Teddy Bridgewater Minnesota Vikings $6,300
at Chicago Bears

Teddy Bridgewater has been solid this season and has gotten better with the emergence of Stefon Diggs. Despite being on the road this feels like a good opportunity for Bridgewater. The Bears defense is 6th in terms of fantasy points allowed to the opposing quarterback.

Matthew Stafford Detroit Lions $6,800
at Kansas City Chiefs

This play does come with some cause for concern but Stafford has played better in the past couple weeks. He faces a Kansas City Chiefs defense that has issues stopping the pass. They are 8th in terms of fantasy points allowed to the quarterback. They have also allowed third most passing touchdowns and are middle of the pack in terms of interceptions. Stafford could throw a pick here but a 300 yard and 3 touchdown game could come too. The high upside with a low price tag could put you in the money in contests this weekend.

Jonathan Stewart Carolina Panthers $5,600
vs Indianapolis Colts

It’s hard to buy into Jonathan Stewart in season long leagues because of the injury concern but DFS is another story. He has a terrific matchup against a Colts defense that can’t stop the run what so ever. They allow the 6th most fantasy points to opposing running back and have allowed the third most rushing touchdowns. He has 203 yards and 2 scores in the past two weeks. Expect another strong performance from Stewart with in the neighborhood of 20 carries.

David Johnson Arizona Cardinals $3,800
at Cleveland Browns

This is pure value play. I expect the Cardinals to run and run well in this match up. I recommended Chris Johnson earlier as well. David Johnson could work as a rusher and receiver in this one. While I don’t expect a monster game by any means, he should return more value that the $3,800 price tag suggests.

Stefon Diggs Minnesota Vikings $5,100
at Chicago Bears

Stefon Diggs is legit. He has emerged at the number one target in this offense. 19 catches on 28 targets screams, “dynamic weapon.” He faces a Bears defense that struggles against the pass. They allow the 5th most fantasy points to opposing receivers. Expect Bridgewater to find Diggs early and often in this one. They make an affordable stack that could pay off big time.

Golden Tate Detroit Lions $4,300
vs Kansas City Chiefs

Golden Tate hasn’t been the player we thought he could be this season. He’s been fine but nothing special. His current price shows that. Tate has the opportunity in this spot to have a really nice game. The Chiefs allow the most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Tate could provide value at his price tag.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins Tampa Bay Buccaneers $3,400
at Atlanta Falcons

There is a chance that Austin Seferian-Jenkins does not play in this game, but assuming he does, there is a ton of potential in this match up. The Buccaneers will be without Vincent Jackson in this game. That opens the opportunity for a big game from ASJ. The Falcons allow the 8th most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. It is the same defense that was torched by Ben Watson.

Arizona Cardinals $3,600
at Cleveland Browns

I typically like to find a more affordable defense to recommend in this spot. However this week I like the Rams or Cardinals and not much else. With the Rams likely to be highly owned, the Cardinals have just as much upside with a very low ownership rate. Great way to keep the safety and be different. Fire up the Cardinals this week.
