Week 6 Defense Streaming
- Updated: October 11, 2017

Week 5 was an interesting week in terms of watchable games but in terms of week 6 defense streaming I don’t think we learnt anything we didn’t really know from the first four weeks. The Patriots and Bucs defenses bot showed up but we can put that down to the TNF effect on the offenses. The Giants went from a bad offense to a bad offense with no wide receivers making them an offense to target regularly and often.
Bye Weeks
Week 6: Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks
Week 7: Detroit Lions, Houston Texans
Week 8: Arizona Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, Jacksonville Jaguars, LA Rams, NY Giants, Tennessee Titans
Start multiple weeks
(New additions in red)
Tennessee Titans (19%) vs. Indianapolis Colts, @ Cleveland Browns
The Colts and Browns both look ugly on offense and the Titans just did a good job against an equally poor team in the Dolphins.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (14%) @ Arizona Cardinals, @ Buffalo Bills
Arizona has looked downright ugly on offense and the Bills are struggling to get to 20 points. The Bucs defense has generally looked solid and can hopefully get more sacks and picks.
Baltimore Ravens (78%) vs. Chicago Bears, @ Minnesota Vikings, vs. Miami Dolphins
Trubisky is definitely an improvement for the Bears but their offense still looks a mess. The Vikings look a shell of the team from week 1 and the Dolphins are a mess. All of this points to good signs fior a Ravens defense which is the strongest part of this team.
Denver Broncos (96%) vs. NY Giants, @ LA Chargers
I know its stating the obvious because the Broncos have one of the best defenses in the NFL but they are coming off a bye where they may have been dropped and they get to come up against an offense with no receivers and a QB who loves nothing more than throwing interceptions.
Start this week
Washington Redskins (41%) vs. San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers aren’t horrific but they aren’t good on offense. The Redskins actually look like a competent defense and should be able to stop the 49ers who will travel cross country for this game.
Atlanta Falcons (50%) vs. Miami Dolphins
Jay Cutler looks horrific and the Falcons have a young exciting defense.
Houston Texans (89%) vs. Cleveland Browns
The Texans lost JJ Watt but the tonic for that is facing an awful Browns offense
Beware for a couple of weeks
Arizona Cardinals (73%) vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, @ LA Rams
These are three really solid offenses (The Rams rank#1 overall on O right now!!!!!) so I am staying away despite the Cardinals having been solid on defense this year.
Sit this week
New York Jets (20%) vs. New England Patriots
The Pats defense might be pretty ropey but Tom Brady should find no issues picking the Jets defense apart this week.
Miami Dolphins (6%) @ Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons coming off a bye with a Julio Jones potentially healthy is something I want to avoid.
Carolina Panthers (51%) vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Carson Wentz is enjoying his now traditional good start to the season and I think he can put up enough points to make the Panthers a bad play.
Pittsburgh Steelers (81%) @ Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs can hurt you in so many ways all game long.
