MLB DFS: Targets for 6/13

It’s a full slate of games today for MLB DFS! There’s a double-header between the Brewers and Cardinals, so take that into consideration when constructing your lineups. Don’t forget to listen to our podcast, with new episodes twice a week!

Pitchers:

David Price (BOS vs. PHI)

Moneyline: -255

Over/Under: 9 1/2

FanDuel: $9,300/DraftKings: $10,100

There was slight movement with the moneyline overnight, shifting more towards the Red Sox. Price is back from the DL, and after a couple of starts, I’m confident with owning him in this start against the Phillies. He hasn’t had a home start yet, so I’m liking tonight’s match up even more. The Phillies are riding a six-game losing streak. Price has an opportunity to pitch a game much like the one he had against the Orioles, against a Phillies team who are offensively weaker.

Marco Estrada (TOR vs. TB)

Moneyline: -152

Over/Under: 8 1/2

FanDuel: $8,500/DraftKings: $8,000

It’s really hard to get a read on Estrada because he’ll do well in tough matchups, and can give up five runs to teams who he should have the upper hand on. He’s on the mound against the Rays, and seems to be a fair target for his price on both sites. Unexpectedly for many, his K/9 is currently at 10.38. The Rays as a team are still striking out the most in the MLB, at a rate of 26.1%. Estrada’s velocity has been better than his average this season, which may be a reason for his strikeout numbers.

Scott Feldman (CIN @ SD)

Moneyline: -113

Over/Under: 8

FanDuel: $7,900/DraftKings: $7,000

Take a decent pitcher out of their hitter’s home park and start him in more of a pitcher’s park, and you have my interest. Feldman has six quality starts out of 12 games started this season. A couple of these games were against the Giants, while others were against the Indians, Cardinals, and Orioles. He’s able to get it done against tough teams too. The Padres are an easy team to target, and Feldman could be more highly owned on DK. I also like him on FD for the QS points.
