Tom Brady should be healthy after the week off they get with bye week. They are the two seed in the AFC and would have to go to Denver assuming both teams meet in the AFC Championship game. Their pass rush has improved after adding Jabaal Sheard which has helped their secondary. Their offense remains a little bit of a question mark as they have been dealing with a rash of injuries to their running back core. They also need Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola back to add reliable weapons for quarterback Tom Brady. If they are healthy they have a great shot at being the AFC representative in Super Bowl 50. They also a much easier path than the NFC favorites.
Arizona Cardinals +475
The Arizona Cardinals offense is a juggernaut. Carson Palmer will get Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd, and John Brown the ball. David Johnson gives them a legit rush attack and another option the pass game. Their defense has had issues getting a pass rush all season and the loss of Tyrann Mathieu gives serious concerns to their secondary. They will get to play at home until the face Carolina which is a huge benefit.
Seattle Seahawks +500
The Seahawks have represented the NFC in each of the last two Super Bowls. Despite a sluggish start to the season they seem to be on track to represent the NFC again. Russell WIlson has been on fire over the past 7 weeks throwing 24 touchdowns and only 1 interception. They should also get Marshawn Lynch back for the playoffs which should help. Going on the road to potentially play both Carolina and Arizona is a big ask but the Seahawks have the team to do it.
Carolina Panthers +500
Cam Newton has been incredible all season and likely has the regular season MVP locked up. Thier defense is loaded with studs including Thomas Davis, Luke Kuechly and Josh Norman. Jonathan Stewart should be back to add stability to rush attack. The Panthers seem to be the most complete team of the three favorites. They are my favorite bet if you want to bet one of them.

Best Bets
Carolina Panthers 5/1
If I am betting any of the favorites the Panthers are that team. I trust Cam Newton to keep their offense clicking. They should have a healthy Jonathan Stewart and Greg Olsen for the playoffs. Their defense leads the league in takeaways and is 6th in sacks. They can continually give their offense a short field and keep the game close.
Pittsburgh Steelers 10/1
The Pittsburgh Steelers have a tough task ahead of them this week going on the road to Cincinnati. Assuming they can come out of that game with a win and a healthy Deangelo WIlliams, the Steelers are absolutely a team that could go on a serious run. They have an incredibly dynamic passing attack with Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown, Martavis Bryant and others. They also have a defense that while isn’t the most dominating has the ability to make game changing type plays. They finished 3rd in the NFL for most takeaways. If you think the Steelers are poised to make a run now is the time to jump on them. Their price will only rise from here.
Cincinnati Bengals 25/1
This may be my favorite bet on the board. They have a stout defense that has allowed the 11th fewest yards to opposing offenses. Getting linebacker Vontaze Burfict back has only added more talent to that side of the ball. While A.J. McCarron is the horse you’d ideally like to attach your wagon to, he can do enough to win this week and let Andy Dalton come back in round 2. Yes the Red Rifle is worth getting excited about in the playoffs. His postseason struggles are well documented but he hasn’t had the offensive arsenal he should have this postseason. Tyler Eifert, A.J. Green, and Marvin Jones are all healthy and legit weapons. They can also lean on Jeremy Hill to tote the rock in cold weather. If you are in the same mindset as I am that the Bengals can win this week then jump on board now. If this team had a healthy Andy Dalton they would be much closer to the Steelers 10/1 odds. Take the value and enjoy the ride.
