Daily Fantasy Basketball Playbook – 11/13

Russell Westbrook

With 11 games slated, it’s going to be a fun night for NBA DFS. I hope you followed my plays this week because we have been on fire lately. Let’s keep the hot steak going tonight! Good luck and enjoy your weekend everyone

Point Guard

Fantasy just got a whole lot better thanks to Monkey Knife Fight. With fast-paced games like Rapid Fire and Either/Or, it’s never been easier to play fantasy and win. New to MKF? Get Exclusive $100 Deposit Match + Free $5 Game >

Russell Westbrook ($11,600) – No Kevin Durant means that Westbrook will be owned everywhere, but for good reason. I may not like him with Durant on the court, but he’s a top five player in the league when he is running the show. His overall numbers skyrocketed last season when Durant was out. Expect the same tonight.

Rajon Rondo ($7,600) – George Karl is trying to be a magician and trick everyone into believing that he has a backcourt besides Rondo and Collison. Well we aren’t falling for it George. Rondo has been getting over 40 minutes consistently so far this season and that should continue until Darren Collison comes back. Those minutes alone should be enough for his price tag.

Ty Lawson ($6,000) – I just want to mention Lawson tonight. A revenge game is something I am usually down for in DFS. A lot of players also have trouble with the Denver altitude, so that’s another advantage with Lawson tonight. He’s a GPP guy that I really like for his price.

Shooting Guard

Eric Gordon ($6,200) – As a Pelicans fan, this makes me want to puke writing his name on here. Bu there is no denying how well Gordon has played to start the season. He had a really nice game against the Hawks with Anthony Davis out. Davis is listed as doubtful tonight, so I expect in uptick in Gordon’s production again.

Monta Ellis ($5,700) – Ellis gets a nice matchup against the Timberwolves tonight. He’s hit value in all but one of his last seven games, and that includes three 30+ point fantasy games. With all the injuries in Indiana, Ellis should make for a nice GPP play tonight.

Small Forward

Andrew Wiggins ($7,200) – I’m going back to the well here like I did earlier this week. He is a little banged up, but he still had a solid outing. I think people will be off of him tonight and that’s why I’m getting him everywerhe I can.

Joe Johnson ($5,200) – Johnson has been nothing short of stellar this week in DFS. He’s another guy Iam going back to tonight. He’s never the sexiest play, but he’s been producing at a high level, and Brooklyn will need him to produce tonight against the Grizzlies.

Power Forward

Ryan Anderson ($6,000) – Much like Eric Gordon, Anderson gets a bump tonight with Davis out. Nothing has confirmed Davis being out, but it isn’t looking good for him. Anderson has hit at least 30 fantasy points in three straight games so continue to ride that hot hand tonight.

Julius Randle ($6,300) – This is my sneaky cheap play of the night. The Mavs are terrible against the position. He’s cheap and has a very high ceiling tonight.

Marc Gasol ($6,700) – He’s obviously over his neck injury from last week because he played some big minutes against the Warriors last night. Portland’s frontcourt simply won’t be able to slow him down tonight and his value is too good to pass up for that price tag.

DeMarcus Cousins ($9,900) – There isn’t a whole lot to dislike tonight with cousins. He’s going up against a smaller frontcourt and he’s incorporated more jumpshots into his game. This finally seems like the season where Boogie puts it all together and as long as he’s under five digits, it’s hard to fade him.
