Week 4 Snaps Report
Week 4 Snaps Report. The use of this report for fantasy is multi-fold:
- Team Speed vs Passing or Rushing
- Team Positional Usages (Teams variation in RB/TE/WR)
- Player Snaps by Week
- Changes in Player Snaps (Improve or Declines)
- All this information aids in Line-Ups and DFS plays in week 5

Team Average SNAPs/SEC vs Targets
Week 4 Snaps Report. The metrics below focuses onto a team’s speed and their target production. I have seen trends more targets in faster teams and less targets from slower teams.
I present all teams snaps/sec number vs their targets and sorted the list by team speed. High Speed – Green Low Speed – Red. Additionally, I tracked the level of team targets using green X high targets vs yellow Z low targets.
Note the bottom slow teams have no high target designations. If you look above the league average 6 of 7 high targeting teams are there. The rule breaker teams of of interest for further research.
- MIN/HOU (Low Targets High Speeds)
- CHI (High Targets Slow Team)
The faster teams should be a focus for deeper players especially in PPR leagues while slower teams are deep players avoidance. Rule of Thumb!

Targets vs Team Snaps/Sec
Week 4 Snaps Report. The visual graph tracks the team speed and their targeting. The blue line is the speed from left to right while the yellow trendline is for team targeting. The trend is strong in the slower teams. I would use that results with more confidence. PIT/GB/SF/BAL/NO/IND/TEN are the slower teams. Caution on these team’s deeper WRs! Move away from those players.

Team Positional SNAP Usages, Speed, and Ratio of TE/RB and WR/RB.
Week 4 Snaps Report. I use these metrics to check the usage of all my players. Am I ignoring the data and instead using name recognition or last year’s result bias?
Look to the extreme? Confirm with the Bar Graph to see the landscape of positional usages. I highlighted the tops in the ratios with a green X. For example, ARI uses WRs vs their RB in the extreme vs the rest of the league. BAL is strong in TE use ad BUF is high in RB use.
Collect these team usage extremes and scan through your players. Trade for higher used players. DFS plays for week 5 should be modified using these metrics.

Week 4 Snaps Report. These tables contain:
- Team
- Position
- Player
- Weeks 1 to 4 Snaps
- Season Snap Totals
- Weeks 3/4 Snaps vs Weeks 1/2 (Improve? Decline?)
- Week 4 Snaps vs Week 3 Snaps
Actionable metrics for trades, DFS plays, and Waiver Acquisitions or Drops
Moving to the higher used players is the suggested trend.
Example Analysis ARI.
In ARI the WRs are very active and the top 2 WRS are Fitz and Hopkins. I note the low scoring from Fitz however. Kirk is the 3rd WR and is not a short bench hold.
The ARI TEs are not used while Drake is the RB1 vs Edmonds. Note both have seen drops in snaps over the season. Week 4 was a low point for RBs. Some are going to Edmonds but realize the snap metrics. Definite gamble especially with a short bench league. PPR is better for him.
I conclude Hopkins is the WR1 with Drake an low end RB1/2 type. Trade Drake when he has a great game.

Note interesting results.
ATL- Zaccheaus was top WR last week in SNAPs. He is deep bench hold/flex for week 5.

Players Scoring and Snaps Across the League by Position
Use these metrics to value players for trades, add or drops, and DFS plays this week!
Questions to be addressed are:
- 1) Why Low Snap Players Scoring More
- 2) Why High Snap Players not Scoring? Are they now “DUE”?
- Example Elliot from DALLAS High Snaps but lower Scoring
