2020 PPR Rankings with Player Uncertainty Levels

This Table includes:

  • Team
  • Bye Week
  • Position Rankings
  • Position
  • Overall Name
  • Fantasy Sport’s Professor’s Rankings (Scale of 100 to 0-Green to Red)
  • Uncertainty Level of High, Average or Low

The DST and Kicker for PHI are at the bottom of my list for drafting in 2020

QB and RB

Wentz is ranked at the bottom of QB1 types at QB12 ranking with uncertainty based on injury and the players around him. He is viable but there are other QBs to consider as well at that level. Not a 2020 target for me but would take if needed.

The 2020 Season in PHI is suppose to feature Miles Sanders at RB12. He should meet that challenge. I am also picking up Boston Scott as a RB4/5 in best ball. He came on late season in 2019 and displayed talent. He is ranked at RB44 but with uncertainty based on his level of use for 2020. Clement is the RB111 ranked and is not in the mix unless an injury occurs!

TE and WR

PHI was a strong user of its 2 TEs in 2019 and I believe this pattern continues. Ertz and Goedert are ranked at TE3 and TE 16. Ertz does have more uncertainty based on injury issues and the level of his 2020 role since Goedert is very capable of TE based production as well. The TEs in 2019 enjoyed a high level of targeting vs the WRs (see below)!

The concern for the WRs is the 2019 levels of targeting which was low vs the TEs. These WRs also are all in a tight range of ADPs and in my rankings. Their uncertainty is high for 2020 due to the splitting of targets leaving no clear dominant WR.  Jeffery is at WR52, Reagor at WR55, and Jackson at WR61. Hard to pick the end of season winner within these 3 WRs. Also PHI has 3 other WRs that can be in the mix with an injury within 2020!

2016 to 2019 Positional Based PPR Fantasy Point Averages (FPA), Team Usages, and Differences from 2019 to 4-year Averages

This table presents:

  • Team
  • Position
  • 2016 to 2019 Fantasy Point Averages
  • 4 Year Sum of Averages
  • % of Positional Usage by the 4-Year Date
  • % of 2019 Team Usages
  • DIFF – 2019 vs last 4-year % Usages (Improving or Declining)

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES- Professor’s NFL Team Flash Card.  In 2019, the PHI team used all position except their WRs who drop by a whopping -6.1%. Instead the passing was to the TEs at a +1.2 gain and they were a positional top in FP in last four year.

Also, the RBs were nicely used at +2.6% tops in last 4 years. The RBs were an RB 2, 4 and 5 type. Note Howard is gone so does Scott move up? (The 2019 levels were 15. Miles Sanders 43. Jordan Howard  49. Boston Scott).

The QB increased by 2.3% and also tops in FPs within the last 4 years. Obvious concerns for PHI WRs in 2020 as the best was a WR 4/5. (59. Alshon Jeffery, 76. Nelson Agholor, and 101. Greg Ward) . Watch for evidence of change and note QB/RB/TE were part a triple 4-year top. Did PHI peak in 2019? Caution QB Nate Sudfeld kept.    Triple Top QB/RB/TE with Bottom WR

2015 to 2019 Team Level Targets Per Game, 2019 Usage, 5 Year of Targets/Game Usage, and DIFF in 2019.

This table contains:

  • Team
  • Position
  • 2015 to 2019 Targets Per Game
  • 5 Year Average of Targets Per Game
  • %2019 Usages in Targeting
  • % 5-Year Positional Usage Average
  • DIFF 2019 vs 5-Year Average of Team Positional Usages

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES- Professor’s NFL Team Flash Card.  Overall Comments: 2019 PHI used their TEs early and often. The TEs moved up by 7% Targets/Game  and had a insane 48% targeting share. The 2 TE therefore are both in the top 16 TE for 2020. They are Zach Ertz TE3 and Dallas Goedert TE16 and Goedert as the cheaper one could be the value.

The RB on the other hand dropped by 4.6% in Targets/Game and were at a very poor 16% targeting usage. The RBs for PHI in 2020 are Miles Sanders RB12 and Boston Scott RB46. Sanders is ok but not sure Scott has weekly value but he did flash in 2019 and currently is a cheap handcuff only.

The WRs also declined in 2019 by 2% and were used  at a weak 35% targeting rate. The PHI WRs are  Alshon Jeffery WR52, DeSean Jackson WR61, Jalen Reagor WR55, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside WR110, Greg Ward WR113, and Marquise Goodwin WR114. PHI is carrying a lot of WRs in a weak usage team. I would select the cheap one of Jeffery, Reagor, or Jackson.

Concerns for 2020 in PHI WRs.
