Target and Attempts Report Week 2
Target and Attempts Report Week 2. The report covers the first two weeks of team, positional, and player level targets and attempts to clarify week three opportunity prospects. Use mine and your analysis to set lineups for trades, add-drops, and DFS plays.

Week 1 and 2 Team Level Targets
———————————————————————————————————————————–
Target and Attempts Report Week 2. The table and graph track team level targets for weeks 1 and 2. I noted the grand totals of targets followed by scaling the team level grant totals (Scaled GT). The scaling calculation displays the team’s targets relative to the entire league. We must understand a team’s process, including passing and rushing. Use those tendencies to help in drop-adds and lineups. I move toward teams’ WRs and pass-catchers if those teams are producing heavy targets. Additionally, focus on opportunities.

I highlighted in this graph the top vs. bottomed team targets from weeks 1 and 2 (green vs. red brackets)

Team Positional Level Week 1 and 2 Targets
Each block of data contain:
- Team
- Pos (RB, TE, and WR)
- Sum of TGTs
- % of Team TGTs
———————————————————————————————————————————–
I scan through these metrics to define team tendencies as to feeding their positions. Clear highs and lows are also readily seen. Please move to a Team’s strength vs. their weakness using the TGT lens.

Positional Based Target Totals and %Team Targets
Please consider the tabular metrics followed by the visual graph of the team’s positional targets. The analysis is precise for us to understand where each position is highly or lowly used. Move your team’s lineups toward players in teams that highly use them.

Cheat Sheet for Team Positional Usages by Targets
———————————————————————————————————————————–
I wanted to present a simple “Quick View” of all Team Trends. Essential for week three analysis.
———————————————————————————————————————————–

———————————————————————————————————————————–
Player Level Week 1 and 2 Targets with Totals.
———————————————————————————————————————————–
I use these metrics to “see” the team’s usages of specific players and look for extreme changes. This analysis helps visualization of week 3 for lineups etc. Find the extremes. An example of ARI TE, Maxx Williams, is going from 1 to 7 targets. That extreme targeting change gets your attention. If I needed a TE2 type, he would be on my list of week three adds. Having deep benches allows for these kinds of presumptive decisions. I on play for money in those types of leagues.

Each Data Block Contains
- Team
- Position
- Player
- W1 and W2 Targets
- Sum of Targets.

Player Targets by Position (RB, TE, and WR) Tables
———————————————————————————————————————————–
I present each position’s top players by their total targets for the two weeks. Note the inconsistency aspects of many players. Expect change and differences vs. the same targets as a rule. Prepare for a different result.

Team Level RB Opportunites (Rushing Attempts and Targets)
———————————————————————————————————————————–
Opportunities (OPPs) for Running Backs included rushing attempts and passing targets. Therefore that position is more complex and requires extra analysis. Below is the OPP for all teams from weeks 1 and 2 and total and scaled OPPs. I look for changes and extremes in the data and at scaled OPPs to see the pecking order of team RBs vs. the league.
For the last two weeks, the top RBs in OPPs are HOU, TEN, CAR, NE, IND, DET, MIN, and CIN. These teams require your handcuffs, as well as noting the rushers vs. pass catchers. Some teams such as HOU have two many RBs, which clouds the analysis and makes it less profitable to invest in these RBs.
Be cautious of the RBs from BUF, LAR, ATL, NYG, JAC, SEA, KC, and PIT, as those teams are “seemly” using their RBs less?

———————————————————————————————————————————-
Player Level RBs within their Teams
———————————————————————————————————————————-
Each Team Block contains:
- 4 Teams
- Players (RBs) Purple Pass RB vs Orange Rushing RBs
- Sum of Rushing Attempts for 2 Weeks
- Sum of Pass Targets for 2 Weeks
- Rushing vs Pass Player Usage Ratios
- Sum of OPPs
- Points per OPPs
- Combination Bar and Line Graph of OPPs and Points Per OPPs – visual viewing.
———————————————————————————————————————————-
Action-Packed Data for your analysis. I focus on which players are rushers vs. passers or balanced RBs. Extremes are essential for me. I use the R/T ratio to catch any aspects missed in the raw data. OPPs smooth out the message, and the Points per OPPs hits the more essential players for our knowledge. I have found P/O as a way to gauge handcuffs for their independent value. Please listen to my video lesson (above) for details.
