Week 12 QB Streamer and Dreamer: Start Jacoby Brissett

Its Week 12 and the fantasy playoffs are rapidly approaching or are here. Some of us are dealing with issues at the QB spot and will be forced to use a QB Streamer. Philip Rivers, Andy Dalton, and Derek Carr should be used before the streamers if they are on your roster or available. If you still need help at QB this week, look to the three names below to get you by.

Jacoby Brissett | QB | Indianapolis Colts

This a prime opportunity for the Colts and QB Jacob Brissett. They are coming off of a bye week and get to stay home to welcome the Tennessee Titans. A defense that has allowed multiple passing TDs the past three weeks and one that was slaughtered by Ben Roethlisberger last Thursday. This sets up to be a massive TY Hilton game that should help boost Brissett’s numbers. He also has that Konami code appeal with his legs. A rushing TD or two is very much on the table. If you need help this week look his way.

Tyrod Taylor | QB | Buffalo Bills

After last weeks abomination of a decision, it seems like Tyrod Taylor is the QB of the Buffalo Bills. If for some reason Taylor doesn’t start and Nathan Peterman gets another look, run far, far away from this offense. The Chiefs defense is allowing the 8th most fantasy points to opposing QBs. A number that has gone down thanks in large part to the atrocious Brock Osweiler and Eli Manning and the Giants being very conservative. Tygod should be solid this week and posses the ability to add value with his legs. If he starts, he should be used.

Joe Flacco | QB | Baltimore Ravens

This one is much more of a situational play than anything else. It certainly won’t get the stamp of approval from my AOP co-hosts but here we go. Joe Flacco is home this week to take on a Houston Texans team that has been awful against the pass. They have allowed 12 passing TDs over the last four weeks including at least two in each of those games. Danny Woodhead should see more work in the passing game this week. Ben Watson, Jeremy Maclin and others should help Flacco be productive. While he won’t compete for the QB1 this week a spot in the top 10-12 feels well within the range of outcomes. Use Brissett and Taylor first but Flacco is fine this week.
