Week 15 NFL DFS Best Buys on Own the Play

Matthew Stafford

The Week 15 NFL DFS slate is loaded with value. Owntheplay.com gives you opportunity to build stacked rosters. With bargains at every position you can make winning rosters. Lets take a look at the best buys at each position.

Matthew Stafford Detroit Lions $7,300
at New Orleans Saints

It can be really easy to want to look at other options at quarterback this week after the less than stellar performance a week ago by Matthew Stafford. This matchup however is too good to pass on. This Saints defense has allowed the 3rd most passing yards and the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Stafford should feast on this defense. Stacking him with Calvin Johnson or Golden Tate is a great way to go as well.

Kirk Cousins Washington Redskins $6,700
vs Buffalo Bills

Kirk Cousins is simply a different quarterback at home with 400 more passing yards with twice as many touchdowns. He also cuts down on the turnovers with two of his 11 interceptions this season have coming at home. This week they welcome a Bills defense that is allowing the 13th most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. Cousins has the upside of more expensive quarterbacks and the value to make lineups work.

Lamar Miller

Lamar Miller Miami Dolphins 7,200
at San Diego Chargers

Lamar Miller has been really good each of the past two weeks since the Dolphins made the change at offensive coordinator and have committed to the run. He had 113 yards against Baltimore and 89 yards with two scores against the Giants. This week he gets another awesome matchup against the Chargers who rank 5th in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. Assuming the Dolphins remain committed Miller will more than reward those who use him.

Charcandrick West Kansas City Chiefs $5,500
at Baltimore Ravens

Charcandrick West is in play this week. He will get the majority of the work with Spencer Ware still watching practice as of Wednesday. The Chiefs are favored by 8.5 points on the road which should allow them to dominate the ball and time of possession. When West has gotten 20 plus carries in a game he has produced in a big way, getting over 20 points in the three games he got that work load.

Denard Robinson Jacksonville Jaguars $5,200
vs Atlanta Falcons

Denard Robinson will get his shot to be the feature back in Jacksonville. The Jaguars have been rolling offensively of late including scoring 90 points over the last two games. Robinson took over in the last game tallying 75 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. This week Robinson gets to face a Falcons defense that has been ran all over all season. Allowing the third most fantasy points to opposing running backs. Robinson is a must play at running back for me this week.

Tyler Lockett

Should Tyler Lockett be a must play in DFS? (John Froschauer/Associated Press)

Tyler Lockett Seattle Seahawks $4,700
vs Cleveland Browns

Tyler Lockett has emerged as a legit weapon with the Seahawks. Over the past two weeks he has 13 catches for 194 yards and two scores. With Thomas Rawls out for the season, Seattle should lean on the pass even more. They get a terrific match up against a Browns defense that has struggled defending the pass. They are 4th in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers. Lockett is a great play especially at his price tag.

Ted Ginn Jr. Carolina Panthers $5,200
at New York Giants

Ted Ginn Jr. has become a lethal weapon for quarterback Cam Newton. He has 200 yards and 4 touchdowns over the past two weeks. He gets another great opportunity against a poor New York Giants secondary. They have been abused by wide receivers that can get behind the defense. Ginn should have plenty of chances to do so. Ginn can be underwhelming but his upside at this price tag makes him hard to avoid for me.

Zach Miller Chicago Bears $2,500
at Minnesota Vikings

Zach Miller has been really strong when he gets the work and with Martellus Bennett on season ending IR Miller gets his turn to shine. He started a week ago and produced for those who used him. He caught 5 balls for 85 yards and a score. At a $2,500 price tag he provides a ton of lineup flexibility and the ability to put up a really nice game. Miller is my tight end this week.

Jacob Tamme Atlanta Falcons $3,200
at Jacksonville Jaguars

The Atlanta Falcons offense has had problems moving the ball on offense ever since their hot start. Jacob Tamme has been used in the offense even if his yardage totals aren’t jaw dropping. This week he gets a chance to perform against a Jaguars defense that has struggled against opposing tight ends. They have allowed the most fantasy points to opposing tight ends over the past 5 weeks. Tamme is a very affordable option that can produce in your lineup this week.
