Week 12 College Football Picks Against the Spread

Oklahoma State

Week 12 College Football Picks Against the Spread features key match ups with the finish line very much in sight. The Big 12 and Big 10 have a ton of questions that will be answered over the next couple weeks. The SEC is once again heavily featured this week. There is also a Pac 12 clash that doesn’t have the cache’ many assumed it would but it should still be a really fun watch.

Oklahoma State Cowboys PK vs Baylor Bears

All season long I have picked against Oklahoma State and all season long they have proved me wrong. They are in the top 20 in terms of both offensive and defensive efficiency. Their defense is loaded with talent and has been dominant all season. I expect them to slow down Shock Linwood which is the key to slowing down the Baylor. Jared Stidham got hurt against Oklahoma and the effects were visible. He also had a couple costly turnovers that ended up costing Baylor. This week sets up as a huge letdown spot for the Baylor Bears who until a week ago were pushing for a spot in the College Football Playoff. They still have a shot at being one of the final four teams but Art Briles has said all season that if Baylor wins out, they will represent the Big 12 in the Playoff come seasons end. Take the Cowboys in this game at home.

LSU Tigers +5.5 at University of Mississippi

The LSU Tigers have looked bad for two straight weeks. They were rolling until they faced Alabama. The Crimson Tide put the smack down on the Tigers and the hangover was in full effect against Arkansas. That said, LSU is still a really good team that has the best running back in College Football. Despite being on the road this week, LSU will remind everyone how good they can be. I expect the Tigers defense to rebound this week as well. They can get pressure on Chad Kelly and slow the Rebel offense.

Texas A&M Aggies at Vanderbilt Commodores Under 42

The Vanderbilt offense is awful. They are 112 in terms of offensive efficiency. However, their defense has been really strong all season. They are currently sitting at 4th in the nation in terms of defensive efficiency and that is playing games in the vaunted SEC. The Aggies have been a mess on offense. They have gone to Kyler Murray after the massive struggles Kyle Allen had against Alabama and Ole Miss. This game feels destined to go under. I like Vanderbilt in this game as well. A parlay with Vanderbilt +6.5 and the under feels like a safe bet for Saturday.

Arkansas Razorbacks -3 vs Mississippi State Bulldogs

A week ago I gave you the Razorbacks as an outright winner and they came through. This week they are welcoming another team coming off a game against Alabama. I love the Razorbacks again this week. While Alex Collins isn’t Derrick Henry by any means, Arkansas should be able to have much of the same success that the Tide did a week ago. Brandon Allen should be able to throw the ball all over the yard when the Razorbacks aren’t running it. Arkansas wins this game big and covers the 3 points with ease.

USC Trojans +4 at Oregon Ducks

This number is an overreaction to the game a week ago. The Ducks went on the road and beat a really good Stanford Football team. Stanford got too conservative against a team that can be thrown on. While the Trojans are battling injuries on both sides of the ball, I think they take advantage of an Oregon secondary that is a mess. Vernon Adams has been much better since getting healthy but won’t be able to do enough to get a win even at home. Take the Trojans not only to cover but to win.
