Week 6 Thursday Night Fight

Week 6 Thursday Night Fight

Week 6 Thursday Night Fight. The PHI vs. NYG Game should be a below-average scoring affair at 43 to 45 ish total game points. That is never optimal for PPR leagues and DFS. The key players should be the focus only. I would not dive deep into the secondary players for DFS etc.

Defense against the position (DAPS)

Week 6 Thursday Night Fight. The Defense Against the Position (DAPS) metrics for this game are shown below. High Numbers (above 50) suggest an Easy situation for that position vs. Lower Numbers (below 50) suggests a Tough defense to that position.

The figure below highlights the “hot spots” for each team. These positions are the short rule of thumb for DFS and lineups for this week.

  • NYG RB

  • PHI QB WR TE

NYG DAPs

Week 6 Thursday Night Fight.  When NYG has the ball, they face an overall tougher game passing with QB +38 DAP/  TE +27 DAP/  WR+57 DAP. The easy spot is the RB fighting into a +62. These DAPs suggest an RB night assuming the RB can pass-catch.

NYG Player Rankings Uncertainty Level

Week 6 Thursday Night Fight. I use my rankings of players from 0 to 100 (worst to best) along with my uncertainty analysis. High UNC players are predicted to have a wide floor vs. ceiling while lower UNC players do not. High UNC players may be more of a gamble to use in lineups and DFS.

  • Jones is AVG UNC QB ranked at 30/100. Weak.
  •
  • The WRs can collect some PPR points with Slayton at Low Unc at 58/100 and Tate at a High UNC at 41.
  •
  • Engram is a good TE in a tough DAP at High Unc 65/100.
  •
  • Freeman has a nice DAP environment at High UNC 47/100. He can pass-catch and should have a nice scoring possibility.

PHI DAPs

Week 6 Thursday Night Fight.  When PHI has the ball, they get a nice passing situation. QBs get a very easy +80 DAP, WRs at 87 DAPs, and the TEs at 95 DAPs. The RBs will have a tough rushing night at +25, so I expect the pass-catcher RB to thrive tonight.

PHI Player Rankings Uncertainty Level

  • Wentz is at an Avg UNC at 40/100 ranking. I may be under-rating him.
  •
  • I think Rodgers/Croom the TEs can surprise due to the easy DAPs! They might be in a DFS situation for tonight.
  •
  • The WRs get a nice DAP from the NYG defense. Fulgham is a Low Unc ranked at 57. He can disappoint and maybe will not produce as he has in other weeks. Play him as needed but limit expectations.
  •
  • The Wild-Card is Jackson, but a High Unc 35/100 ranking is a strict gamble, but in DFS tournament could be a play.
  •
  • Greg Ward is a Low Unc at 29/100 and is another extreme play.
  •
  • The PPR points may be spread vs. concentrated on a player tonight.
