Week 1 Match-Ups allows a deep focus into each game using interesting metrics as a guide for line-ups and DFS plays.

Each game block contains 3 tables Week 1 Match-up.

Table 1 has the following:

• Date
• Game Number
• Teams
• Estimated Points
• Favorite vs. Underdog Designation
• Point Spread
• Over/Under Game Total Points
• Level of Point Scoring Expected (High>49, Above Average>45 to 48, Below Average>42 to 44, and Low of 42 and below)

PIT vs. BUF

I use the above table’s information to answer these questions.

1. What is the scoring level expected. More points are always better for your team.
2. What positions are favored within this match-up? Looking for high green high numbers for easy spots. 

For BUF vs PIT, it is predicted to be an above average scoring game. BUF is favored by 7 ish points. Given the WRs from BUF this is not unexpected.

DAP Analysis

The Defense Against Position (DAP) meterics allows a game script landscape for this game. 

BUF should be going with the WRs as they face an average DAP of 54. Note the RBs face a RB DAP of 13 which is very tough! Expect less rushing than normal. The BUF TEs also are facing a tough TE DAP of 10. Allen the QB get to prove himself against a tough QB DAP of 18. Can he get time to get to his WRs. Maybe the slot WRs get more attention? Beasley? 

PIT gets more choices for using its RBs and TEs! The RB DAP is average of 51 which is good for Harris. Ebron vs an easy 86 TE DAP. He figures to have a nice chance for scoring. Good streaming option play. The PIT WRs go against the tough BUF Defense with a 37 WR DAP. However, given 3 great players should still allow one to have a great game. I suspect Ju Ju but that is a guess.

Each Player is rated by my FSPR PPR rankings of 0 to 100 (worst to best – red to blue/green). The player’s FSPR is also listed under their expected UNC level (High, AVG, or Low).  

I use these meteric as a guide within the DAPs and Vegas information. Good Tiebreakers for line-ups.
