Week 5 Snaps Report
Week 5 Snaps Report. The use of this report for fantasy is multi-fold:
- Team Speed vs Passing or Rushing
- Team Positional Usages (Teams variation in RB/TE/WR)
- Player Snaps by Week
- Changes in Player Snaps (Improve or Declines)
- All this information aids in Line-Ups and DFS plays in week 6

Team Average SNAPs/SEC vs Targets
Week 5 Snaps Report. The metrics below focuses onto a team’s speed and their target production. I have seen trends more targets in faster teams and less targets from slower teams.
I present all teams snaps/sec number vs their targets and sorted the list by team speed. High Speed – Green Low Speed – Red. Additionally, I tracked the level of team targets using green X high targets vs red Z low targets.
Note in the top 11 teams in speed had 50% of the higher targeting (green x). In the teams outside the top 11 fastest teams which are 21 teams, these teams (not fast) have 70% of the lowest targeting teams.
The rule breaker teams of of interest for further research. DET LAC CIN seem to be rule breakers with fast speed but low targets. PIT is slow but has nice targets?
The faster teams should be a focus for deeper players especially in PPR leagues while slower teams are deep players avoidance. Rule of Thumb!

Targets vs Team Snaps/Sec
Week 5 Snaps Report. The visual graph tracks the team speed and their targeting. The Bars map the average snaps per second of each team. The highest speed teams are plotted to the left moving to slower teams to right. (Green fast to Red Slow).
Additionally, the red line with yellow data points are tracking the team’s average targets. The pink line in the league average in team average targets. As we look across the landscape, 6 fast team also have the higher targets as well. The slower 6 teams only had 1 fast targeting team.
I use these metrics to acquire deeper WRs in faster higher targeting teams!

Team Positional SNAP Usages, Speed, and Ratio of TE/RB and WR/RB.
Week 5 Snaps Report. I use these metrics to check the usage of all my players by positions. Am I ignoring the data and instead using name recognition or last year’s result bias? Look to the extreme? Confirm with the Bar Graph to see the landscape of positional usages.
Additionally, I tracked the ratios vs RB usages and highlighted the high ratios by green colorization. Remember this is a beginning in your weekly process and always note the scoring levels as well. ARI TE is used in snaps but your will find low scoring. Do not blindly follow any metrics without a common sense view as well.

Collect these team usage extremes and scan through your players. Trade for higher used players. DFS plays for week 6 should be modified using these metrics.
———————————————————–
Example, Extremes in ARI TE/ ATL WR/ BAL TE/ and I colorized these spots in the following Bar Graphs by green colorization.
Move to higher usages ad away from lower usages.

Actionable metrics for trades, DFS plays, and Waiver Acquisitions or Drops
Moving to the higher used players is the suggested trend.
Example Analysis ARI.
Still watching Edmonds but he is still in the passing role. Kirk the WR is still the WR3 type but he has scored recently.

———————————————————–
Note interesting results.
ATL- Zaccheaus was top WR last week in SNAPs (2 weeks in a row). He is deep bench hold/flex for week 6. I marked him using a yellow star.

———————————————————–
BAL 4 way RBBC! Avoids. Brown is the solid WR1 for the Team

———————————————————–
Davis the WR seems to be the guy with Brown is out. Watch
———————————————————–
The 3 WRs are very close in Snaps.

———————————————————-
Mooney vs Miller? Confusing. Watch.

Claypool key now in PIT.

———————————————————–
Homer is a handcuff.

———————————————————–
Strange RRBC but Mostert as Key RB when back.

———————————————————–

Players Scoring and Snaps Across the League by Position
Use these metrics to value players for trades, add or drops, and DFS plays this week!
Questions to be addressed are:
- 1) Why Low Snap Players Scoring More
- 2) Why High Snap Players not Scoring? Are they now “DUE”?
- Example Damien Harris/L Bell both have High Snaps/Sec but lower Scoring
