Next week will mark the final week with teams on Bye weeks and all four teams have quarterbacks that fantasy football players rely on for their starters. This opens up the need for a streaming option at quarterback for week 12. This makes guys like Ryan Tannehill viable options for one week replacements in your fantasy football lineups.
QB on the Block
Ryan Tannehill – 79% Available
Since settling into the starting role with the Titans, Tannehill has not been awful. In three of his last four games he has thrown for 2 or more touchdowns and has two games with over 300 yards passing. This makes him a viable option to replace a starter on Bye this week.
Jeff Driskel – 97% Available
The Detroit Lions say Matthew Stafford is week to week but in the big picture of life aren’t we all? There is no way Stafford goes under center again this week giving some limited value to Jeff Driskel for one more week. Don’t expect a huge game but he shouldn’t turn the ball over and has some excellent red zone threats at wide receiver.

RB on the Block
Jonathan Williams – 96% Available
Colts’ starter Marlon Mack will miss several weeks with a broken hand. Last week Williams got a chance to take over because Jordan Wilkins was out. If Wilkins misses the game on Thursday night Williams will have a chance to shine again.
Bo Scarbrough – 98% Available
The backfield for the Lions has been a mess since Kerryon Johnson went down with an injury. Scarbrough was activated for the first time last week and didn’t disappoint. He also gets an excellent matchup in week 12.
WR on the Block
Randall Cobb – 85% Available
Don’t expect over 100 yards and a touchdown each week but volume is a big key to fantasy football expectations long term. Over his last six games Cobb has seen six or more targets on five occasions. Amari Cooper is drawing the tough coverage and has been battling an injury making Gallup and Cobb great targets for Dak.
Chris Conley – 87% Available
Nick Foles and Chris Conley played together with the Chiefs. Over the last four games Conley has 7 or more targets showing a consistency rarely seen in a wide receiver so widely available.
TE on the Block
Ryan Griffin – 97% Available
Chris Herndon is done for the season making RYan Griffin the only real pass catching tight end on the Jets roster. He was thought of as a typical touchdown dependent tight end until going off for over 100 yards last week. Only two tight ends have out scored him over the last four weeks.
Dallas Goedert – 81% Available
The wide receiver corp for the Eagles is beat up. When the best healthy receiver is Nelson Agholar who has a history of being prone to dropping passes and the best pass catching running back is out the tight ends will be targeted more often going forward. Goedert has seen 28 targets over the last five weeks.
You might find even more attractive candidates for your waiver wire pickups this week with fantasy players needing to drop depth level players to fill out their Bye week options at several positions at once. Next week with the end of the Bye week period I will start showing you how to prepare your roster for the playoff push.
