Week 2 Snaps Report
Week 2 Snaps Report gives players a view into the Team’s system. Does the team use RBs more than WRs? Does the team rely on their WRs? These are key questions for lineups, DFS plays, and waiver wire selections. These metrics strengthen as the season goes on. Please come back and continue following my works!
Team Positional Level % of Team Snaps
I always suggest players use a broad view of a Team’s activities. I start in this Snap Report by looking at the positions. Note all metrics are colorized High to Low.
These tables from the Week 2 Snaps Report include:

- Team
- Position
- Positional % of Team Snaps (%TS) Week 1 and 2
- %TS Average Week 1 and 2
- Look for extremes – ARI WR usages or BAL usages of TEs as examples.
- I also focus on the week to week changes! DIFF Metric!
- Difference Week 2 %TS vs Week 1 (Improvements or declines)
- Landscape Plot of all Team Average % Week Snaps
- Use landscapes to “see” the way the Team conducts its games. (High or Low Position Usages)
ARI_ATL_BAL_BUF
ATL the DIFF Metric sees an increase at RB by +4.7% but Hooper dropped by -5.8%
BUF the DIFF sees a -5.6% drop at RBs! Caution.

CAR_CHI_CIN_CLE
CHI TE and WR %TS +5% +6.5% vs a drop in RB of -11.5% (new normal?)
CLE RB %T +12.6% vs -13.2% Drop in TE (DN hurt)

DAL_DEN_DET_GB

LAC_LAR_MIA_MIN
LAC +7.1% TE Increase
LAR +7% RBs vs -7.8% WR drop
MIA +7.0% in WR drop in TE by -6.3%

NE + 6% RB vs -6% in TE
NYG +6.8% TE vs a big drop at WR of -9.3%
NYJ Loss of QB sees a +12.1% increase at RB coupled with a drop of -5.5% and -6.6% at TE and WR. Concerns!

OAK_PHI_PIT_SEA
Oak extreme drop at TE by a -15.5% (boom-bust for Waller concerns) vs +14.2 OAK at WRs. Does that inversely connect the TE and WR positions at Oak?
PHI extremes at WR (injury) by -13.9% vs an increase at TE by +11.9%
PIT loss of QB – Drop-in RB by -4.4% but an extreme drop in WRs by 13.9%. Concerns for Juju! loss of 13% of FP? The flipside is a +20.2% at the TE (VMD solid?) or will Rudolph and team balance back? caution in these shifting sands!
OAK – Dissly back with a +7.2% increase at SEA TE!

SF_TB_TEN_WAS
TEN saw an uptick at RB by +7.1% tied to a drop at TE by -7.9% (Walker caution)
WAS drop an RB by -6.4% but an increase by +8.6% at TE

Conclusion:
Use to see positional shifts and tie that to this week’s predictions. The more data the better and I expect clarity in any extreme situations.
Player Snaps Week 1 and 2, Average Snaps and % of Team Positional Snaps (%TPS)
These tables give a weekly view of each player followed by their average and team importance as measured by %TPS. I have noted some players of interest to me by a green X in their data line.
I use to confirm lineups, search for DFS cash vs tournament plays, and potential drop adds acquisitions for this week. These metrics have been sorted by the %TPS numbers and give players the “weight” each player has on his team.
Injuries in these top player should have higher effects. I would handcuff these top players vs the mid-tier players. We all wish we had this data before our drafts!
Running Backs
Caution – Dave Johnson ARI, TEN RBs, Duke Johnson, etc. Spot the issues and note the possibilities!
Upticks of interest – Elliot and Freeman

Tight Ends
Caution: Hooper, Davis, Hockenson, and Kittle
Upticks of interest: Rudolph, Everett, Graham, and Dissly

Wide Receivers
Caution – Jones, Robinson, and Gabriel
Upticks looks like week 2 had many WRs getting upticks.

TEAM Positional Level Player SNAPS for Week 1 and 2, Average SNAPS, and %TPS
Team level metric allows a deeper focus onto the players SNAP metrics. This data can not be used correctly by 5 minutes of scanning. If you do not have the time for the task please use the player SNAPs data above. Week 2 Snaps Report note green X players
I use for lineups in seasonal and DFS, drop adds., handcuffs identification, previous week game scripts for positions usages and seeing the upcoming late-season bloomers.
I really suggest you finalize your teams by week 10 to 12 going into the playoffs. Use this data to help formula your trades and acquisitions.
Example ARI- Week 2 Snaps Report
Caution DJ 77 to 36 snaps and note Edmonds had an uptick as DJ dropped. ARI TEs are an avoid! Bryd is the WR3? He has been over the KJ and Crabtree. Watch Crabtree move into WR3. Problem is the QB though. Week 2 Snaps Report
