Each week during the college football season I’ll be naming a Devy player whose stock has risen and one that has fallen. This can help you target devys, add players to your radar, or see how your devy roster is doing.
Though not draft eligible this year, Jerry Jeudy could be the top devy WR pick with his shining development in the Alabama passing game this year. Last season, Jeudy flashed good speed with great athletic ability catching the ball, but he has become Bama’s #1 WR this season and is running with the job. In each of Jeudy’s first three games, he caught two touchdown passes and showed his fight for contested passes in the red zone by boxing out CBs and using some fundamentals to catch passes. He looks like a starting NFL WR and likely will be a first round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Another true sophomore RB disappointing this season, D’Andre Swift has not taken control of the Georgia RB situation like many expected. With Zamir White out for the season, the opportunity was there for Georgia’s star sophomore to have a stud-like season. Instead, he is getting outplayed by junior Elijah Holyfield and losing his pass catching role to freshman James Cook. Add in a groin injury, and Swift is working uphill this year. Just like Cam Akers, Swift has not lived up to the top billing, but the talent is still there and he likely will bounce back.
