Indianapolis Colts’ Mike Adams is facing a Texans’ team built on Arian Foster, and that could lead him to some serious money in fantasy football this week. Please read here for the full strategy of DB Streaming.
Week 15 Streaming Targets:
Mike Adams, Indianapolis, S, (v HOU)
Adams has quietly been a very productive and consistent fantasy safety, helped by his 57 tackles and five (count ‘em) interceptions on the season so far. Meanwhile Houston have tightened their grip on top of the most rushing attempts leaderboard with 432, the NFL average is around the 350 mark. I think this game will be closer than many think, and Arian Foster is going to be key to that. As stated previously, this can only be good news for safeties, and with Adams in fine form already, he is a must start in week 14. Prediction: 9 tackles, 2 assists, INT Chance: 10%
Antoine Bethea, San Francisco, S (@SEA)
One of the most consistent performers in real and fantasy terms, Bethea doesn’t need a good matchup to be a starter. However this week the 49ers are on the road to Seattle. I can see this getting ugly for San Francisco after watching wretched performances over the last month or so, and Marshawn Lynch will no doubt be called on to run all over the 49ers. Bethea is a tough tackler and watching him bring down Lynch after a 7-8 yard burst is no doubt something we will get used to next Sunday. Prediction: 8 tackles, 4 assists, INT Chance: 10%
Orlando Scandrick, Dallas, CB (@PHI)
Scandrick’s fantasy season has been hit and miss, scoring under 5 points 3 times, and 10 or more just twice, so we all know how risky it is trying to find a diamond at cornerback in fantasy. However this week he is lining up against the Eagles, who showed last time out against the Seahawks that their lack of a true no. 1 receiver hurts them in the passing game. Sanchez completed just 10 passes last week and no received had more than 2 catches. I like Scandrick’s chances against the Eagles, who have thrown (as a team) the joint most interceptions in the NFL, along with Tampa Bay and Jacksonville (17). Here’s hoping Scandrick can make the most of his matchup and give you a boom week. Prediction: 4 tackles, INT Chance: 30%
Kyle Fuller, Chicago, CB (v NO)
A lightning start to his NFL career has dimmed somewhat for Kyle Fuller, who has no interceptions since Week 3, and only one 10 or more point games this season since Week 3. He is likely available on your waiver wire in smaller IDP leagues and his matchup this week should pay dividends for your playoff run. Drew Brees is normally comfortable at home but the Saints form has dropped from a cliff lately, so to go on the road to a cold and windy Chicago in December will be a tough ask. Brees has 12 interceptions on the season, very unlike him, and his volume of throws (second only to Luck in the NFL this season) mean playing against aggressive cornerbacks is going to be risky. Of course this is great news if you’re starting Fuller. Prediction: 6 tackles, 2 assists INT Chance: 25%
