Monkey Knife Fight Picks: CFB Week 5

In addition to my DFS preview, I’m going to offer plays that jump out to me for College Football on the Monkey Knife Fight platform. Some weeks I may have just one. Others none. It will just depend on what combinations are being offered for that Saturday.

For those new to Monkey Knife Fight, it is an enjoyable and simple way to play DFS. Games like Rapid Fire and More or Less allow you to select fast picks competing just against yourself instead of potentially thousands of other competitors. You can choose player props or fantasy points with every contest requiring you to pick 2 or more options, similar to a parlay. Three or more selections are also available with even larger payouts.

If you haven’t given Monkey Knife Fight a try, click here or use our promo code “PIGSKIN” for a 100% deposit match up to $100 and a free $5 contest.

I went 1-1 last week. But, on Monkey Knife Fight a .500 record gets you profit because of the payouts! Onto this week.

Both Robinson and Evans have the workhorse role in their respective backfields. They are true three down backs that possess great receiving skills, and have game breaking speed. Their average fantasy points per game are both higher than each of their goals. And, both have hit 30 plus fantasy points in each of their last two games.

With Vegas odds of 4.5/66, this game projects to be a back and forth shootout that is always gold for fantasy purposes. Simply put, these are two of the most productive backs in college football in a phenomenal spot to eat Saturday. More is the way to go here. I think Evans could achieve his total without a touchdown. Outside of an in-game injury, I have a hard time seeing either of them not reach their goals.

Pick Less For Both

True story: So far this season, only Army, Air Force and Navy are passing at a lower rate than Michigan. Let that one sink in. With possible rainy conditions for a game that already has a total of 43.5, I doubt that trend will be changing this week. Michigan wants to run the ball. And, they will even if they average 3.3 YPC like they did against Rutgers last week.

The narrative is fairly similar for the Badgers. Like past Wisconsin teams, it’s a run heavy, defensive minded style of play. Based on what quarterback Graham Mertz put on display last week against Notre Dame, I don’t see head coach Paul Chryst wanting to rely on him to win them the game. This matchup is going to be played in a phone booth with two teams racing to 20 points circa 1980s Big Ten football. Three yards and a cloud of dust all day baby!

Anyway, both players are averaging single digit fantasy points this season as it is. And, some of that is against much weaker defenses. Why in the hell would they hit this goal now? Less is the right side on this one.

Good luck in Week 5! Follow me on twitter @realBobbyAdcock compliments and insults are always welcomed.
