2020 PPR Rankings with Player Uncertainty Levels
This Table includes:
- Bye Week
- Position Rankings
- Overall Name
- Fantasy Sport’s Professor’s Rankings (Scale of 100 to 0-Green to Red)
- Uncertainty Level of High, Average or Low
The DST and Kickers are low rated and a pass for me. Having a weak DST can be associated with passing to keep up. Helps the WAS pass-catchers!
QB and RBs
Haskins seems to be the first QB out of the gate at QB28. Kyle Allen was also acquired and might force the issue and rescue the situation. Haskins has uncertainty about his 2020 season. He is a pass for me in redraft.
The parade of RBs is Guice at RB34 and everyone else at RB 63,67, 71 and 91 rankings. The true number two RBs is murky. Guice flashed but was injured last year and the year before. I assume he is finally good to go. I would take him at a favorable price only. Suggest that draft might gamble on other WAS RBs in best ball only.
TE and WRs
Sprinkle the TE is ranked at TE43 but he is so off the radar he could have TE2 upside in best ball. If Allen comes on board, Sprinkle could move up as well. Sprinkle has high uncertainty though. Caution.
The WR crew is much like the RBs. Scary Terry at WR25 and 3 others ranked at 80, 88, and 94 with very high uncertainty. I will draft McLaurin at a nice ADP price no problem. The WR2 who arises from the crew is not obvious now. Allen, I think forces re-drafters to consider the who is next up. I suggest doing research on them as they are not well known!

- % of 2019 Team Usages
- DIFF – 2019 vs last 4-year % Usages (Improving or Declining)
WASHINGTON – Professor’s NFL Team Flash Card. In 2019 WAS used its QB/WR higher than RB/TEs as measured by FP productions. The QB however was in FP level that was the 2nd worst in the last 4 years. Used more but not well at +2.2%.
The WRs did wake up from 2018 and were used at 3.9% . However, their TOP WR was a WR3 followed by a WR7 and WR8. (29. Terry McLaurin 66. Steven Sims and 92. Kelvin Harmon ). 2020 WAS WRs seem to include a Top WR McLaurin and everyone else.
The team was ok at RB with a +0.5% increase in 2019 but can WR RBs stay healthy? RB 2019 FPs level was the last in the preceding 4 years. Finally, the QB had no TEs to speak of and they were used by a -6.6% decline.
The check-downs were with WR and RBs. Watch for TE changes. Nothing I see suggest big 2020 improvements except if Allen comes in later in the season. Note WAS signed RB Peyton Barber and J.D. McKissic as well as TE Richard Rodgers and Logan Thomas Double Bottom with RB/TE
2015 to 2019 Team Level Targets Per Game, 2019 Usage, 5 Year of Targets/Game Usage, and DIFF in 2019.
This table contains:
- 2015 to 2019 Targets Per Game
- 5 Year Average of Targets Per Game
- %2019 Usages in Targeting
- % 5-Year Positional Usage Average
- DIFF 2019 vs 5-Year Average of Team Positional Usages
WASHINGTON – Professor’s NFL Team Flash Card. Overall Comments. Firstly, 2019 in WAS saw a drop in RB and WRs targeting by -1 and 3% in T/G. The RB in 2020 are Derrius Guice RB34, Adrian Peterson RB63, Antonio Gibson RB72, Peyton Barber RB91, and Bryce Love RB71.
Secondly, WAS to me is signaling a RBBC approach and thus a split the PRP fantasy points. Guice is the picked RB1 with Peterson the RB 2 in a 2 to 1 split?. Complex issues exist for 2020. Caution.
Thirdly, the WRs targeting also dropped in 2019 and had a 36% usage which was is poor targeting usages. The current WRs are Terry McLaurin WR25, Kelvin Harmon WR85, Steven Sims WR93, and Antonio Gandy-Golden WR104. The public is strongly supporting McLaurin as the 2020 target hog. The price seems low.
Interestingly, the other 3 WRs are going to fight for WR2 status and caution suggested until clarity is achieved. The unknown unknown is the TE position which increased by 4% and was used above WR and RB which is a shewed metric. Sprinkle is the current TE1 (ranked low though) and given all the metrics should have a sleeper TE3 2020 draft value. Best Ball target and TE premium league bye week sleeper!
