Blitz or Prevent – DraftKings Week 3

Chargers Austin Ekeler

“Blitz or Prevent” is where we have some of our content providers at Fakepigskin.com answering a few questions about DFS going into DraftKings Week 3.

Blitz means they like it and Prevent means they do not like the question. We have Dustin Hogue, Dennis Michelsen and Kyle Robert answering this week’s questions.

Blitz or Prevent: Are you willing to pay $7200 for Ekeler?

Dennis – Prevent – That is a little rich for my blood he has over produced 2 weeks in a row

Dustin – Blitz – He’s very involved in the passing attack with no Gordon still.

Kyle – Prevent – I like this spot for Ekeler but I would much rather pay up for Dalvin Cook or find ways to save at the position with Kerryon Johnson or James Conner.

Blitz or Prevent: Is Diggs considered a cash game play at $6000

Dennis – Prevent – I would be in Diggs avoidance mode in DFS until we see a few more weeks of the new Minnesota offense especially at this value

Dustin – Prevent – Absolutely not. Give me Fitzgerald with 10 targets on a full PPR site.

Kyle – Prevent – I like Stefon Diggs as a player but worry about him in this spot. I think this could be a lopsided contest where Minnesota will limit the pass attempts for Kirk Cousins.

Blitz or Prevent: Lamar Jackson($7000) over Patrick Mahomes($7600)

Dennis – Prevent – Could see some stormy weather on Sunday so I would be looking elsewhere for my QB play in this game but edge to Mahomes at home between the two QBs

Dustin – Blitz – I’m going Jackson just because of the #RavensD.

Kyle – Blitz – I love both QBs this week but saving $600 dollars on a QB who should throw plenty and utilize his legs seems like a wise move. If you have extra funds I want Mahomes but Jackson and his cost savings are the way to go.

If you have any questions for the FakePigskin staff, shoot us a message on Twitter, @fakepigskin. Maybe we can use your question on a segment of Blitz or Prevent.
