The Week 15 Running Back Rankings are here to help you make tough decisions this week. Whether it is deciding which of your options to start, or who you should be looking to pick up this week to cover your injuries. Our team will be here the rest of the year ranking the offensive positions, defensive positions, and team defenses to try and help you win your fantasy football leagues.

Justin Jackson, LAC at KC
This ranking assumes Melvin Gordon will sit out. If Gordon does suit up, I would treat him like he’s Melvin Gordon in a plus matchup, ranking him at fifth overall.

Jackson isn’t Gordon, but he’s talented. In college, he was a fantastic cowbell back that could do plenty of damage in the passing game.
With Austin Ekeler already ruled out, Jackson would be in line for a minimum 15-20 touches, in what is projected to be the highest scoring game of the week. Don’t think twice about trotting him out there over guys like Lamar Miller, or our next running back to discuss.
Aaron Jones, GB at CHI
I probably have a lot more names ahead of Jones this week than most. It’s not his fault. It’s that damn Bears defense at home that scares me.
Check out how running backs have stacked up when playing at Chicago this season:
| Week | Opp | Rush | Rush Yds | Rush TDs | Rec | Rec Yds | Rec TDs |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Week 2 | SEA | 19 | 57 | 0 | 1 | -1 | 0 |
| Week 4 | TB | 17 | 53 | 0 | 2 | 5 | 0 |
| Week 7 | NE | 26 | 104 | 0 | 9 | 70 | 2 |
| Week 8 | NYJ | 19 | 35 | 0 | 4 | 25 | 0 |
| Week 10 | DET* | 22 | 67 | 1 | 12 | 98 | 1 |
| Week 11 | MIN | 13 | 17 | 0 | 4 | 8 | 0 |
| Week 14 | LAR | 11 | 28 | 0 | 3 | 30 | 0 |
| Totals | 127 | 361 | 1 | 35 | 235 | 3 |
*Large majority of these numbers came in garbage time.
Yes, I understand garbage stats count in fantasy. But, if you’re relying on that game flow to produce, I would argue it makes a player even more of a risk.
If there was any doubt as to how elite this unit was, it was erased when they shut down Todd Gurley last week. They’re holding opposing running backs under three yards per carry for the year at home.

If you were able to get your hands on Damien Williams (assuming Ware is ruled out), or Jaylen Samuels–yes–I’d pull the trigger on them over Jones this week.
Good luck for Week 15! Follow me on twitter @realBobbyAdcock compliments and insults are greatly appreciated.
