Week 7 Defense Rankings

The Week 7 defense rankings are here help you make tough decisions about who to stream this week. Defense streaming is now widely seen as the best way to utilize the DST spot on your roster. It certainly is not the only way to do it. However, it is perhaps the best way to consistently get a top-10 DST on your roster each week. The other option often involves spending a single-digit round pick on a defense. That is not something I am not willing to do outside of extremely deep leagues.

For this article I will look to pick defense streamers that are under 70% owned. All ownership is prior to waivers running Wednesday.

Our team will be here the rest of the year ranking the offensive positions, defensive positions and team defense to try and help you win your fantasy football leagues.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Buffalo Bills (37%)

The Colts have had a couple of tough games on the defensive front but this week they get the Bills at home. The Bills rank worst in the league in terms of points scored by opposing defenses. In addition, Derek Anderson will be quarterbacking the Bills in this game, just two weeks after he was signed. This should be a slam dunk for the Colts defense.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Denver Broncos (20%)

The Cardinals defense has put up 35 points the last two weeks, scoring touchdowns in both games. In total on the season they have 18 sacks and 11 turnovers and I think they can add to both of those numbers this week. Case Keenum has struggled this season and on the road in Arizona I cannot see that improving this week.

Buffalo Bills @ Indianapolis Colts (7%)

The Bills defense has stepped up at times this season with three games in double digit fantasy points. The Colts rank 11th worst in fantasy points surrendered to opposing defenses. The Colts have made mistakes this year and Luck had three interceptions last week. I think he throws at least another interception this week and the Bills defense gets him on the ground a few times.
