College Football DFS DraftKings Targets For Week 2

If you need a College Football DFS appetizer before Sunday, I will be posting my DraftKings Targets each week here for the noon slate. This week, I’m focusing on Colorado at Nebraska, which Vegas has installed the home Cornhuskers as a three point favorite with a total of 62. At one point in time, in a galaxy far far away, this matchup would’ve consisted of two top 10 teams with the likes of Rashaan Salaam and Tommie Frazier toting the pill on each side. Now that they both suck, the best way to watch them is to have a few units in the game for entertainment purposes. So, let’s get to it…

WR Colorado Laviska Shenault Jr.  $5,900

I’m not exactly sure how to pronounce his name yet, but I’m certain he had a monster game one ago week catching 11 balls for 211 yards, and one touchdown in their opener at Colorado St. He remains a great value this week before players catch on to him, where he’ll look to continue his bid to be Colorado’s next Nelson Spruce.

QB Colorado Steven Montez $8,500

Montez to Shenault provides a very reasonable double up price for the early slate in what projects to be a back and forth affair in Lincoln Saturday afternoon. I will be making an effort to get as many players from this game in my lineups as possible.

RB Michigan Karan Higdon $7,500

If I know Michigan football, then I know they are in a perfect spot to do what they do best Saturday as 28 point favorites at home against Western Michigan–beat up on bad teams. After getting 21 carries at Notre Dame last week, Higdon emerged as the bell cow in the Wolverines backfield. He makes for an outstanding floor/upside/price combo in a powder puff matchup.

RB Ohio St. Master Teague $4,100

The Buckeyes are on schedule for another blowout Saturday at home against Rutgers. The freshman is the most talented of the backup running backs. He comes at a great price in a matchup where he should have a healthy opportunity to showcase his skills in the second half when OSU is rolling, and trying to run the clock.
