Welcome back to this edition of the NBA DFS playbook. Normally I would talk about the nine games on the books for tonight, but I want to pivot from that today. I just wanted to say how much I appreciate all of our readers here at FakeRoundball and the rest of the FakePigskin family. You readers are awesome and allow us to provide top notch stuff because you always expect the best from us and we want to provide that for you. So from all of us, thank you. Also, be safe out there in this weather this weekend. Good luck and enjoy your weekend.
Kemba Walker ($8,100)
Fantasy just got a whole lot better thanks to Monkey Knife Fight. With fast-paced games like Rapid Fire and Either/Or, it’s never been easier to play fantasy and win. New to MKF? Get Exclusive $100 Deposit Match + Free $5 Game
Kemba did put up 50 a couple games ago and it wouldn’t surprise me if he did something similar tonight honestly. He’ll be taking a more focal point of the offense with Nicolas Batum, Al Jefferson, and Cody Zeller out tonight. Walker will be looking to make up for that loss on offense. I’m starting him everywhere I can tonight.
Stephen Curry ($10,400)
The consensus is to pay up for Russell Westbrook or Chris Paul tonight but I’m going with Steph here. He’s got a great matchup against the Pacers who will be without George Hill and Rodney Stuckey. The blowout factor is there, but with some much value at other positions, it’s easier tonight to pay up for him and he can always drop 40 real life points. Also, getting back Steve Kerr means Golden State will want to put on a show for him.
Gerald Green ($4,700)
Dwyane Wade is out tonight and Gerald Green is always a threat to take off from the 3 point line. Green may not be a spring chicken anymore, but the dude can still sky out of the gym. It also helps that nobody in Miami appears to be playing tonight so Green should get even more looks tonight to hit some shots. I know my prices are on Draftkings, but he’s a steal on Fanduel for his pricetag.
Khris Middleton ($7,000)
People were very surprised to see Middleton get the contract that he signed over the summer, but I wasn’t. I loved his pick and roll game and expected Jason Kidd and company to utilize that. That’s exactly what has been happening in Milwaukee and Middleton is having his best season yet. He gets a tasty matchup tonight against a terrible defensive team in the Rockets. He’s a lock for my cash game lineups.
Chandler Parsons ($5,600)
Parsons minutes restriction seems to have been lifted, so no worries about that anymore. I like this play more if Dirk Nowitzki is out tonight, but even if he plays, Parsons will be needed to hit shots on the floor tonight. He’s coming off of two solid games and the Mavs need his length on the floor to help guard KD and company. I love him as a GPP guy tonight.
Tobias Harris ($6,300)
This is more of a gut call than anything, but no Batum tonight means Harris should be running all over the court tonight for the Magic. I think Parsons is safer in cash games, but I still like both of them more as tournament plays. It’s hard for me not to see him as a baseline of 30 fantasy points tonight with Charlotte so banged up.
Terrence Jones ($4,700)
No Dwight Howard tonight so Jones is almost a must play at this salary. Milwaukee is sneakily bad on defense and people seem to not realize it yet. I don’t blame anyone for sticking him in their cash game lineup but don’t be surprised if drops 30+ fantasy points, which easily puts him over hitting value.
Chris Bosh ($7,600)
Dwyane Wade, Goran Dragic, Hassan Whiteside and basically everyone else besides Bosh are out tonight for the Heat. Bosh is the only player really worth a damn in the frontcourt and he’s got a revenge game in line here against his former team. I’ll invest in that any day, especially for a guy who’s looking at playing 35+ minutes. With all that being said, it’s likely a blowout so Bosh is nothing more than a tournament play for tonight.
Nikola Vucevic ($7,500)
Vuc is getting a big bump tonight since he’s going to be playing heavy minutes against Spencer Hawes. I might be the only person who actually think Hawes is worth a damn, but there is not denying his inside game leave much to be desired. He’s got a string of nice games of hitting 35+ fantasy points and I seen o reason why that isn’t his floor tonight.
Greg Monroe ($7000)
No Dwight Howard bodes well for Jones, but it also means good things for Monroe tonight. Houston is terrible at rebounding the ball and Monroe gobbles up boards. It wouldn’t surprise me to see him with a 15/15 game tonight one bit.
