It was difficult to pick the Fantasy Draft Week 15 Bargain Buys as the match-ups just do not seem to have fallen that friendly this week. Even the usually reliable pick of whoever the Saints are playing is tough this week. The Saints toughened a little last week and the Lions switch between looking elite and looking horrific quicker than anything I have seen before. There is a really nice trio of wide receivers featuring this week who wouldn’t look out of place at much higher prices given their ability.

Alex Smith, $10,100, KC @ BAL: Nothing sexy or exciting about this pick because at the end of the day it is just Alex Smith you are relying on. However, he does get to play against the second worst defence against QB’s this week and he has started to open the offence up a lot more in the last couple of week. KC are making a charge for the playoffs and Smith will need to keep taking shots if they are to get there.

Denard Robinson, $9,100, ATL @ JAX: A nice opportunity for Robinson here with Yeldon at least limited this week and likely out. Robinson is a shifty runner who is fun to watch and should have a strong day against a less than stellar Atlanta run defence. Robinson should top his season high of 14 carries this week whether Yeldon is active or not.
Theo Riddick, $7,800, DET @ NO: All of Riddick’s value in fantasy comes in PPR so this format is perfect for him to be a mid-floor with high ceiling this week. The Saints have not been a good defence this season and I think Detroit exploits that using their passing game. Riddick is a huge part of that and can create favourable match-ups meaning he should be on the field plenty. I would expect 4 catches for 40ish yards as a minimum this week with the potential for a 15+ point week.
Sammy Watkins, $11,600, BUF @ WSH: Still a bargain even with the slight price increase. I’m just going to keep riding this horse whilst he is below $12,500.
Martavis Bryant, $10,400, DEN @ PIT: He had a quiet game last week but I think Pitt are going to want to show everyone they are the AFC team to beat this week. Denver has a really good defence but there is no way they can shut down all three of the Steeler’s options so they will focus initially on Brown and then try and deal with the other two. Bryant is too good to be ‘dealt with’ and will make the Broncos pay with a couple of long catches.
Tyler Lockett, $8,400, CLE @ SEA: The Seahawks have opened their offence right u and Tyler Lockett and his style may well be the biggest beneficiary of this. Lockett can burn and get deep to allow Wilson to take the dee shots but he is also good on crossing patterns and finding the space which makes him a lethal combination. Cleveland have not been good against receivers this year and they have to focus more attention on Baldwin which should open things up for Lockett.
Antonio Gates, $8,600, MIA @ SD: If in doubt go for Gates is my motto at tight end and also appears to be Rivers’ philosophy. Right now I think the progression in San Diego is Gates, Gates, Gates, Woodhead, whoever is open. Rivers threw Gates’ way 8 times last week and he caught six of them. I don’t see that number decreasing this week so in a week which is weak for tight end I am going to look towards Gates for sure.
