It is getting pretty nasty out there for the defensive streaming crowd. Playing the match-ups isn’t always working, and the non-defensive people have a stronghold on the really…really…few good defenses.
But there is always hope. And so here we go.
Dallas Cowboys, 21% Rostered v New York Giants, 52 o/u, Dallas -7
That is a lot of potential points on the board, but Dallas has been playing with a large over/under all season. The Cowboys are still the sixth-highest scoring defense.

It’s a divisional game against Daniel Jones and the Giants. Although Jones has been playing well and is getting some of his weapons back, he still has one interception, three fumbles, and eight sacks through four games.
MonekyKnifeFight.com prop bet for Kenny Golladay more or less 14.5 fantasy points
Atlanta Falcons, 2% Rostered v New York Jets, 46 o/u, Atlanta -3
There is a reason the Falcons are only two percent rostered. They aren’t a very good team. Fortunately, this week they play the Jets in London!
Rookie quarterback and coach, an overseas flight, impending time zone changes, and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with its turf field and 62,850 capacity (not sure how many will be allowed), presents diversions, especially for newbies.
Now, add in the fact that the Jets lead the league having their quarterback sacked 18 times and him throwing eight interceptions, and it might mean good things for the Falcons defense. Might.
MonkeyKnifeFight.com currently has Zach Wilson prop bet more or less 238.5 passing yards.
Arizona Cardinals, 33% Rostered v San Francisco Niners, 50 o/u, Cardinals -5.5
Not sure why the Cardinals’ defense isn’t rostered more. They are ranked 11th against the pass (221.5), allowing 1.5 passing touchdowns per game (T15th). Yes, they are ranked 26th against the run, allowing 135.8 average rushing yards per game, but then there are the takeaways.

The Cardinals average 2.2 takeaways per game. That’s the third-best in the league (behind only Buffalo and Dallas). Cornerback, Byron Murphy, has two interceptions (T3rd), and five passes defended (T4th). Meanwhile, linebacker, Chandler Jones, has five sacks (T2nd), and two forced fumbles (T1st).
It is unclear who will be under center for the Niners, as Jimmy Garoppolo has a calf injury that may or may not be as bad as originally thought.
So you will either have rookie Trey Lance or an injured Garoppolo going against the Cardinals defense who just held Matt Stafford and the Rams to 20 points while also adding in an interception and forced fumble.
Check your waiver wire. The Pittsburgh Steelers defense may be available, and they will go against Drew Lock.
