Week 7 Snaps Report
Week 7 Snaps Report. The use of this report for fantasy is multi-fold:
- Team Speed vs. Passing or Rushing
- Team Positional Usages (Teams variation in RB/TE/WR)
- Player Snaps by Week
- Changes in Player Snaps (Improve or Declines)
- All this information aids in Line-Ups and DFS plays in week 8

Week 7 Snaps Report Team Average SNAPs vs. Average Targets
Week 7 Snaps Report. The metrics below focus on a team’s speed and target production. I have seen trends of more targets in faster teams and fewer targets from slower teams.
I presented all team average snaps vs. their team targets and sorted the list by team speed. High Speed – Green while Low Speed – Red. Additionally, I tracked the team targets’ level using green X high targets vs. red Z low targets.
Note in the top 7 fastest teams DAL/CIN/ATL/LAC/PHI/ARI/PIT (Avg Snaps) contain 5/9 of the top targeting teams. Five of these top 7 fast teams are in the top targeting teams.
The rule-breaker teams of interest for further research. WAS/BUF/CAR/HOU seemed to be rule breakers with high targets but slower in speeds.
The faster teams should be a focus for acquiring deeper players, especially in PPR leagues, while slower teams are deep player avoidance. Rule of Thumb!

Targets vs. Team Snaps/Sec
Week 7 Snaps Report. The visual graph tracks the team speed and their team level targeting. The green line maps the average snaps per each team while the red line plots the team targets. The highest targeting teams are plotted to the left, moving to lower targeting teams to the right.
The pink line displays the league average in team average targets. As we look across the landscape, 5 fast teams also have higher targets as well. The slower 11 teams only had 2 fast targeting team (LV and DEN). Additionally, I marked the highest targeting teams with Orange Stars. 9 of the top 11 snap average teams are above average in snaps and targeting.
I use these metrics to acquire deeper WRs in faster higher targeting teams!

Team Positional SNAP Usages, Speed, and Ratio of TE/RB and WR/RB.
Week 7 Snaps Report. I use these metrics to check the usage of all my players by positions. Am I ignoring the data and instead of using name recognition or last year’s result bias? Look to the extreme? Confirm with the Bar Graph to see the landscape of positional usages.
Additionally, I tracked the ratios vs. RB usages and highlighted the high ratios by green colorization and low by red. Remember, this is a beginning in your weekly process, and always notes the scoring levels.
ARI TEs are used low in snap usages vs. ARI RBs, and l find low scoring. Do not blindly follow any metrics without a common-sense view as well.
Collect these team usage extremes and scan through your players. Trade for higher used players. DFS plays for week 8 should be modified using these metrics.
The Blocks of 4 Teams (Alphabetical) contain:
- TEAM
- POS RB/TE/WR
- % of TEAM POS Snap Usages
- Average of Snaps/Second of Offensive Play
- The Ratio of %Usages vs. the RB Positions TE vs. RB and WR vs. RB. Stained for top 20% and bottom 20% League Average Ratios with Green and Red Shading and Numbering
- Bar Graph for Visual Learning of all Team Positional Usages
———————————————————–
For example, Ratio Extremes in ATL WR/ BAL TE/ and I colorized these spots in the following Bar Graphs by green/red colorization and numbering.
Great for DFS in week 8 plays.
Move to higher usages and away from lower usages. These are across the season and give a broad view of a team. Compare of course to last weeks data as well.

Players Scoring and Snaps Across the League by Position
Use these metrics to value players for trades, add or drops, and DFS plays this week!
Questions to be addressed are:
- 1) Why Low Snap Players Scoring More?
- 2) Why High Snap Players not Scoring? Are they now “DUE”?
