The early look at 2020 fantasy football rankings continue with the wide receiver position. If you missed the early look at running back, make sure you go check it out!
As for wide receiver, these rankings feature an elite tier of six or seven names that are locks to be somewhere in the Top 12. Beyond those names there are a ton of interesting names that could make a ton of sense. Is Keenan Allen a lock in a post Philip Rivers world? Can DJ Moore continue to improve under new OC Joe Brady? Is Drew Lock able to provide the consistency for Courtland Sutton to be a top 12 option?

Toughest to Rank – Juju Smith-Schuster
Going into 2019 Juju Smith-Schuster was a highly coveted name that was going at the end of the first round or beginning of the second in almost every league. He was coming off of an incredible 2018 season where he caught 111 balls for 1,426 yards and 7 touchdowns.
2019 however became one he and his fantasy owners will want to forget. Smith-Schuster produced 552 yards and 3 touchdowns on just 42 catches. 2019 was an underwhelming and injury riddled season across the board for the Steelers.
As we look towards 2020, there are some big questions that must be answered. Which Juju will we see? Can Pittsburgh get better quarterback play than what Mason Rudolph and Devlin Hodges were able to produce?
As of now I will be drafting him assuming he will bounce back in a big way. Obviously a ton will change between now and September but I expect to see some stability thus Smith-Schuster finds a home in the top 10 of my rankings.
Who can get into the Top 12 – Michael Gallup
Obviously names like AJ Brown, Courtland Sutton and Stefon Diggs are all ones that make a ton of sense here but I decided to go with Michael Gallup.
A season ago he finished as WR22 in Half PPR tallying over 1,000 yards and 6 touchdowns. On a points per game basis he would have been WR14. He was a tremendous asset to his fantasy owners.
As we look ahead to 2020, in a world where Amari Cooper is elsewhere next season Gallup would vault significantly. He has the skills to produce as the WR1 in the Cowboys offense.
Even if Cooper returns, Gallup should be really good. Expect him to see more single coverage and has the ability to be a borderline Top 12 guy this season.
Dark Horse to Finish Top 3 – Christian Kirk
For my dark horse to finish in the top 3 at wide receiver, I went real deep to land on Christian Kirk. That said, I genuinely believe he has the chance to blow up in 2020. Kirk has all the talent in the world but has battled injuries throughout his first two seasons.
Heading into 2020 this offense should take giant taking steps forward. Another year with Kliff Kingsbury for both Kirk and quarterback Kyler Murray should provide more comfort and understanding of the offense. I expect big things from Murray in 2020 and Kirk should be among those benefiting the most.
Kirk is a target of many of my off season dynasty trades and will be highly coveted by me in re-draft leagues as well. Get in on him before the explosion happens.
