It is already week eight in the NFL universe and there are a few key injuries in the IDP Fantasy world. There are also two teams on a BYE, the Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys.
So now it is time that you need to look a little deeper for an IDP player to add to your roster in week eight. Here are a few you might want to take a gander on.
DeMarcus Walker, Defensive End, Denver Broncos v Indianapolis Colts
Face it Denver is a hot mess right now…rather their offense is a hot mess right now. So much so that the defense spends a lot of quality time on the field. In a room full of so-called ‘stars’ on the defensive side of the ball, Walker is the forgotten man.

Bradley Chubb went down and people began to look towards Von Miller. But wait, it is Walker who is emerging as the best pass rusher on that team. Right now Walker sits with 17 total tackles, 4 sacks, and 3.5 quarterback hurries. (Miller has 20 total tackles, 2.5 sacks, and 0 quarterback hurries).
Zach Cunningham, Linebacker, Houston Texans v Oakland Raiders
The Oakland Raiders have been very generous to opposing linebackers. In their last two games, linebackers have totaled 61 tackles. Cunningham currently sits outside fantasypros.com top 20 linebackers but that can change in a Sunday.
Even outside the top 20 he has totaled 51 total tackles, one sack, and five quarterback hurries. He is also the recipient of one fumble recovery. As we can never be sure of which Oakland Raiders team we will see, their style of play allows for linebackers to have a solid fantasy game.
Marquise Blair, Safety, Seattle Seahawks v Atlanta Falcons
This depends on the injury status of Bradley McDougald, who didn’t play last week due to back injury. If he is sidelined again this week, feel free to put Blair into your lineup.
It is well documented that the Legion of Boom is no more. Nevertheless, this week they are playing the Atlanta Falcons who are generous to opposing safeties and the fantasy managers who roster them.
