Week 8 QB Rankings

Welcome to Week 8! These are our QB rankings from 1-35, particularly for deep leagues and 2QB/Superflex leagues.
Philip Rivers – Currently ranked second among quarterbacks in fantasy football, Rivers has topped 20 points the past four games in a row. He now faces the depleted Ravens’ defense, and looks primed for another elite performance.
Ben Roethlisberger – We expect Big Ben to not only play this week, but to be a starter in all formats. Roethlisberger is one of the few quarterbacks whose fantasy totals rarely seem to be impacted by his injuries. Start with confidence.
Ryan Fitzpatrick – Lake is higher than the other rankers on Fitzpatrick this week. He likes the floor, but he is also impressed with Fitzpatrick’s two starts since the team’s bye. The Raiders aren’t a bad matchup this week, so Lake expects a good week from Fitzmagic.
Matt Cassel – What was that? After all the hype, Cassel scored a meager 7 points in his first start with the Cowboys. Now he faces a rejuvenated Seahawks defense, and should be avoided unless you are desperate.
Peyton Manning – Peyton has been leading the NFL in interceptions this season, and the Broncos’ offense is ranked dead last in the NFL. Until further notice Peyton is a low-end QB2 option. And even that might be too high.
