Another week, another NASCAR race. That means it’s time to get in on some more daily fantasy NASCAR action over at Draftkings. The 5-Hour Energy 301 will take place at New Hampshire and will return to Sunday afternoon after our Saturday night race last week. My last batch of picks did fairly well, but there is room for improvement. The negative points have really been killing my Draftkings teams as of late. Hopefully I can avoid that this week, and steer you in the right direction with some picks. Weather you are just looking to throw in some quick lineups for fun, or are a hardcore NASCAR fan, hopefully these picks will win you some money.
As always we start with looking at both Vegas odds and track history. While Kevin Harvick ($14,200) is the favorite to win, I will lean toward Brad Keselowski ($12,800) due to price. Also in the top tier pricing you can expect good things from guys such like Kyle Busch ($11,800) who has been red hot lately, as well as Jimmie Johnson ($12,700) and Joey Logano ($12,200).
Jumping down a pricing tier, there are several interesting names to consider. Jeff Gordon ($10,900) is a solid option as well as Martin Truex Jr. ($10,800). I feel Truex is underpriced due to recent performances, but he makes a decent play this week. Dale Earnhardt Jr ($10,300), and Kyle Larson ($10,000) are two other drivers to consider in this tier.
Fantasy just got a whole lot better thanks to Monkey Knife Fight. With fast-paced games like Rapid Fire and Either/Or, it’s never been easier to play fantasy and win. New to MKF? Get Exclusive $100 Deposit Match + Free $5 Game
In the “value” tier as I like to call it, there are some drivers with some nice upside, but might be a little risky. Tony Stewart ($8,800) is the first one that comes to mind. Jamie McMurray ($9,800), Greg Biffle ($8,300) and Trevor Bayne ($8,300). If you REALLY need to dumpster dive for a driver, I think Eric Almirola ($7,000) and Alex Bowman ($7,000) could really help you with some salary relief without killing your overall score.
