Its time for our second UFC fight card in as many days. UFC: The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale: Ellenberger vs.Thompson will present us another opportunity to bring home some cold hard cash playing daily fantasy MMA at Draftkings. This card presents a few more unknowns and closer fights making lineup building a bit more interesting. Let’s get into it!
Starting as always with Vegas favorites. The biggest favorite of the night is Michelle Waterson ($11,500). My only problem with selecting her is that I feel she is over priced, especially seeing as how the fight is only a slight favorite to finish. Next up would be Russell Doane ($11,200) and Jorge Masvidal ($10,800). They are both fairly big favorites and are also both favorites to finish.
Looking down just a bit to the mid tier priced fighters, i’m a big fan of Stephen Thompson ($10,500) who is fighting in the main event, is the favorite, with the fight likely to finish. Thats some great value for the price, Also in this tier look to Kamaru Usman ($10,400), Caio Magalhaes ($10,300) and George Sullivan ($10,200).

There are so many cheap fighter to pick from its not even funny. As I mentioned some of these fights lines are so close that it is almost a pick em. That being said for the value on Draftkings, Look to fill out the back end of your lineup out with guys like Willie Gates ($9,600), Michael Graves ($9,400), Mike de la Torre ($9,300) and Hayder Hassan ($9,000).
With so many of these fighters either really expensive because they are heavy favorites, or maybe in a fight that the vegas line is very close, it’s important to remember what kind of lineup you are building. When building Cash game lineups, it’s generally ok to stack a fight, meaning selecting 2 fighters from the same fight. Stacking also helps you with salary cap situations. If you are building GPP lineups, DO NOT STACK fights, and don’t be afraid to take chances on underdogs that are more expensive.
