Fantasy Premier League: Week 29 Rankings

The week 29 rankings were a tough one when I opened my laptop this morning having watched Chelsea bomb out of Europe last night, but as the day has drawn on I have started to find a silver lining. I am heavily invested in Chelsea in fantasy football and now I will barely ever have the “will he play them or will he rest them” debate in my head. When I look at my team and the players that will play now have a lot to prove to their manager and their fans – and to me, that can only be could as a Chelsea player owner in fantasy football.

Week 29 is intriguing because there are a lot of good vs good and bad vs bad match ups, meaning there aren’t a huge amount of standout goalkeepers and defenders. But countering that there seems to be a lot of good options at midfield and striker. I was ranking midfielders and was shocked at the names I was passing up even when I was entering the late 40’s meaning it is safe to say that you will likely be filling your flex with midfielders this week.
