Fantasy Premier League: Week 27 Rankings

When I started looking through my player list to start the week 27 rankings I didn’t realise quite how disgusting the depth of the player pool was and how hard this was going to be to rank players. Due to the League Cup final on Sunday between Tottenham and Chelsea we are down four teams in this week’s fantasy premier league match ups: Chelsea, Tottenham, Leicester and QPR. To make matters worse, we have mid-week games also which means rotation and general upset for fantasy players.

Focusing on this week, we are without names such as Costa, Kane, Austin, Ulloa, Hazard, Eriksen, Fabregas, Ivanovic, Courtois and Lloris. All of which are normally fantasy starters in a ten team league. To say this has destroyed the player pool and frankly broken my heart as a fantasy football writer is an understatement. Add in the injury to Van Persie and frankly it’s a scary short week this weekend.
