Eric Dier, Tottenham – DEF

Making his debut for the Spurs, Dier dramatically scored in the 93rd minute to defeat West Ham United on Saturday.  The goal in injury time secured three points for the visiting club and the first victory for new club manager Mauricio Pochettino. Both squads were down a man due to red cards by James Collins (second yellow) and Kyle Naughton (straight red) as the match appeared to be headed to a 0-0 draw until Dier scored on his first career Premier League shot.
