Taveras is struggling so far in the month of May, with a .200/.243/.343 line for the month with no homers and a 10-2 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Now there is no reason to panic with the prospect, but his struggles will likely result in the Cardinals leaving Taveras in the minors a little longer.
