With their 1-0 defeat of West Bromwich Albion on Sunday at the Emirates, Arsenal locked up 4th place in the table after Everton made a strong push to take the spot over. The finish marks qualification for the Champions League for the 17th consecutive season. Giroud picked up the lone goal in this one on a firm header into the lower left corner off a service from midfielder Santiago Cazorla.
