After picking up goals in his previous two matches against Swansea City and Newcastle United, Barkley was forced off the pitch during halftime at Fulham due to a calf injury. Club manager Roberto Martinez described the injury as a knock and added that he expects Barkley to recover quickly and hopefully be available for the weekend when Everton faces Arsenal. It’s a huge match for both clubs in the race for the final Champions League spot so we will stay tuned as the week progresses and the injury is assessed by the staff.
