West Ham United defeated Sunderland 2-1 on Monday at the Stadium of Light. Carroll put the Hammers on the board early in the 9th minute, heading home a corner service by Mark Noble. Carroll also picked up the assist on what proved to be the match winning goal by Mohamed Diame to push his fantasy point total to 9 on the week, including 90 minutes of pitch time. The three points moves West Ham U up in the table to 11th, seven points clear of the relegation zone.
