10- year New England DT Vince Wilfork has asked the team to be released. The almost 33 year old Wilfork wants to test the open market. He has been to 5 Pro Bowls with the Patriots, and he is widely recognized as the best defensive tackle in the NFL. Cutting Vince would free up $8 million in cap space.
